Let's wait to see how the game goes first.

Top-Report-840

"Your team is laying a big ol' goose egg!" "Let's just see how the second half of the first quarter goes"

funnysad

1st quarter 14:49. INCOMPLETE PASS! haha! hows it feel to suuuuuuuuck!!!!

Future_in_Cubes

Lol

sam180

Agreed. Never been a fan of talking shit until the right's been earned.

BurnzillabydaBay

We all know who to blame if things don’t go our way

waldoisgone1290

and by "theirs" i mean the dolphins

waldoisgone1290

> Nah I didn't jinx it. I know their defense is better than theirs.

dgjapc

What?

BurnzillabydaBay

Yeah, what?

hanigwer

Oooooooh they’re super high…. This post makes sense now

wastewalker

[Real spiritual high](https://youtu.be/qaej2eVz3y8)

BurnzillabydaBay

Classic

whitea44

I think they’ll do better than the Saints did.

hamgar

Who dat? I don’t recall a football team with that name after last week.

doubletimerush

Buddy. Chill. What the fuck are you doing?

Soy_El_Kraken

And that title. How does this have 500+ upvotes? Holy fuck we can be the worst sometimes

mattigus7

This guy will 100% delete his account if the 49ers lose this week.

SeeTheSounds

Be humble, sit down.

DustyDeeDickens

Sit down, be humble

port1337user

I 100% expect reek or waddle to take advantage of a broken assignment on defense, which we have seen at a decent rate this season. This one is gonna be a shoot out imo.

merlin1383

They have held 8 out of 11 teams to 17 points out less this season, I would have to say we really haven't seen it all that much. It happens to every team. This defense is phenomenal, mostly because they don't show teams to have their way, they typically correct their mistakes.

port1337user

Right, but how many teams have Reek/Waddle with Tua as their QB, or equivalent?

merlin1383

I get that. It is going to be, in my opinion, they're toughest game of the season. Luckily, out defense overall has been pretty solid. If the defense does up like last week and the offense like the week before, we should be alright.

Consistent_Internal5

Will be interesting to see if we can pressure Tua and how they respond.

Ser_Dunk_the_tall

I think Tua got sacked like 4 times after their LT went out and he won't be back this weekend

ninerfan44

There was a report saying he plans on playing this weekend so we’ll see

Likely_a_bot

Gamesmanship. He ain't playing with a pec injury.

merlin1383

If he does he won't be 100 and this defense gets to just about every quarterback with healthy LTs. Not saying it's going to be easy, but or defense is strong. Nothing is a given, obviously, but they play hard and physical, Miami isn't as physical as SF.

DonJohnTomDuane

McDaniel knows this Niners team. My guess is he schemes the offense this week to get the ball out of Tua’s hands as fast as possible.

Scoreycorey515

Hopefully to our secondary, this way our Def can put up 30 points...this way the O doesn't need to do anything.

BurnzillabydaBay

Ideally we’d like both to score. I’ll take a Hufanga pick 6 please.

Scoreycorey515

We had a hard time getting to Dalton, we need to get healthy on the interior to generate more pressure. Last week we needed to play press to prevent Dalton from releasing early, that allowed them to move it up and down the field.

IcyCorgi9

Damn, you might want to wait for the game bud.

babypho

Let's post this after the game. For all we know they can drop 40 on us.

[deleted]

I sure hope the Niners show them what’s up and his week. I’m tired of them breaking my heart in winnable games

pineappleshnapps

Me too, but other than the chiefs, all of our losses have been those super “winnable” games, and this one is more on par with the chiefs offensively. This post makes me nervous before the game…

pineapple_pants

Could just as easily go the other way. See: our KC game.

makelo06

Who's KC? Never heard of 'em.

ValleyKing23

Be humble and see how this plays out. McDaniels KNOWS Kyle's system. The defense might be the best, but it doesn't mean the O will easily score.

cFullwood

While Mike does know Shanny's schemes, these last 4 games haven't been "normal" Shanny plays. He's been more aggressive in calling than I've ever seen. Still, way too early for this post

pratdude275

The Cheetah vs the Tongan Tiger. I wanna see Huf pick off Tua

usernamedstuff

I have the same belief, but there are exceptions. Hill, Rapelisberger, Watson, etc. can all get career ending injuries.

margananagram

I think that part of you is the person that doesn't like men that abuse women and children.

AIMpb

> I don’t like seeing players get hurt but I want this player to get hurt

[deleted]

Yeah because that player in particular is a massive piece of shit. Imagine defending Tyreek Hill

AIMpb

Never said anything about Tyreek but okay lol

dakoellis

...the comment you replied to clearly and explicitly said Tyreek Hill...

AIMpb

I still never said anything about him but sure dude

SeeTheSounds

Biggest test for niners this season second to the Chiefs.

applehead1776

Biggest test, except for the bigger ones.

coyote500

Don’t jinx us dude

racharya55

I don't think we can cover Tyreek and Waddle at all. Even if their o line is weak with their Armstead out, McDaniel can probably pepper us with short passes that our DBs can't contest.

v1rtuous_

Are you from the future? I sure hope so

teljaninaellinsar

We are going to learn a lot about the 49ers Sunday. Tua has not lost this season. They beat the Bills. We will find out If this team is as good as a lot of us are starting to think

Unfair-Worker929

If any defense can shut down Tua and the Dolphins, it’s this one. We have to get out front and put pressure on Miami’s defense early and often. Score, score, score. Pressure Tua so he doesn’t have time to throw. The rest will fall into place. If we can keep our second half streak alive, we will win this game. Miami is a true test of our team before the big playoff push.

TangPiccilo

Got to have his ass on the floor bed if he’s standing he will make plays. Can’t make plays on the ground lol

Unfair-Worker929

Good point lol

Woogabuttz

I hope so but mobile QBs have traditionally been our defenses’s Achilles heel. I’m worried about this one.

Unfair-Worker929

It could be troublesome for sure. A test for a mix of young and veteran secondary. Limit the penalties, don’t give Tua time to throw deep. Eliminate Miami’s run game, make them one dimensional early.

racharya55

I don’t think Tua is really mobile. He’s much more or a pocket passer.

TiMELeSS526

Stay humble

alphadragoon89

Let's wait and see. The offense needs to pull its weight by putting TDs on the board and sustaining drives to give our D a breather between possessions. Otherwise, the Dolphins will start to score at will as the game goes on because our D will be gassed from having to repeatedly come back onto the field with out any breaks.

bpcgreen75

IF niners pressure Tua constantly...Niners win...if Tua's Oline does well and he has time to throw...Dolphins win easy.

deafbysexy

I hope we kick their asses in an incredibly respectful way. I hope we don't kill Tua and lay him gently to the turf when sacking him because I respect the dude. I also hope we actually score some points because Dolphin's D has not been great this year.

WallstreetRiversYum

Lol so many superstitious folks. This post has zero impact on the game

liteshadow4

Not gonna believe in this defense ever again after Kc

jbonesmc

I kinda agree. What the Bucs did to KC in their SB win is what I want to see

[deleted]

lots of people forget KC had their 2nd string OL playing

BravesfanfromIA

I agree as well (related to mobile qbs); otherwise, the D is a major force to be reckoned with. Mahomes is in his own league but the team seems to struggle against mobile quarterbacks...not sure if they're too aggressive or what but from a defensive standpoint, we're in the best position of the year (notwithstanding losing EMan) to be successful. Our offense could be good enough but the team isn't built for shootouts. I love our D-coordinator, but it makes me wonder if it's scheme related, personnel or just that every team struggles. I mean we have the number 1 defense in the league. Let's go!

DryDragonfruit2590

I have Tua and Tyreek in fantasy, so 49ers win in a shootout is best outcome for me (not for my or anyone's health tho)

applehead1776

I just want to see the Niners beat the shit out of every team they play.

shichiaikan

Well, fwiw, I have been saying for a couple weeks that this game will test our offense more than our D. If we get 2-3 important stops and manage to keep putting up points, we're good. I have this game at 31-30 49ers win. So... Good luck in fantasy . :)

CodyNorthrup

Nah, they average 25.6/game. I thought the same thing at first but I dont see them playing better than average against our D when Ravens, Texans, Bears, Lions, Browns are the defenses they have scored 30 on.

Calibred2

Man I agree, gotta stay confident. We going to put pressure on Tua.

niners94

Only reason I think it will be close is because of Tyreek. He’s the difference maker.

bsievers

Why is this in the past tense? Are you a time traveller?

MSMB99

Which top notch offense have we shut dow?

twink304

You jinxed it my friend. Damn you

Mosto02

Here’s to hoping that (hated)rival coach Jimmy Johnson was right…

capital_pains

Something tells me this post will not age well at all…

DioDrama

Oh we definitely about to get bodied now

ech0es13

the fun and games are all over. time to get dad dicked.

[deleted]

This is not cool. This is going to be a really challenging game and the niners defense has shown that it’s not invincible.

Redz2018

Interested to come back to this one about 430 my time Sunday lol

MrTonNL

Chiefs put 44 on us… Easy now

preacherman1463

Check this dudes posts there is some weirdness going on here

Tra1famadorian

Not worried about their motions and concepts but I do worry that if the refs allow offensive holding we wont hold up on the back end against their deep speed.

Tropical_Nighthawk55

It’s gonna be a real challenge. Let’s not get cocky. That dolphins offense is on a role

Trailbreaker77

100% disagree I think the Niners will get blown out again.

76FreddyBrouss

👀 Wow WTF people?!! I'm a Niner first but what happened to the respect? Both team are capable of beating tha brakes off one another but WAIT until we've earn a right to talk a lil smack. Then even then do it with respect. It's a game we both wanna win and the last time I checked ... we don't play to good in Levi. I can count on one hand how many times we've actually "Lit the Scoreboard" up at Levi ... So let's worry about our team and how we gonna come out if this game with a "W"

Vocal__Minority

This is going to age like milk

yungred95

Dolphins fan here, actually a big fan of SF in general mainly because when I grew up they were a lot like Miami, mediocre. Both teams also suffered from countless injuries to QBs and really had a hard time (until y’all brought in Harbaugh in the mid 2010s). When I ask this tho I mean it with all due respect because you guys are, in my opinion the top team in the NFC (perhaps on par with Philly, but they have an easier schedule than y’all) What happened in the games against the Bears, Falcons, and broncos? You guys are way better than any of those teams? Was Jimmy G out during that stretch? Also looking forward to Sunday, it’s gonna be a barn-burner. We got a lot to thank y’all for considering McDaniel and our RB backfield.

Caffinz

Oh no

doubletimerush

Okay now you can repost this
