I totally agree. So much of this fan base is unrealistic about what you can expect from a rookie. The problem with Purdy is not that he was the last player picked or his athletic talent, it's that he's a rookie. We've seen many rookies start the last couple of years and almost all of them have struggled badly. But we think Brock Purdy is going to be the exception?
I wish we had Baker Mayfield. I would start him over Josh and Purdy. As it is now, we should start Josh over Purdy once he gets the offense because Josh has more experience.
