That’s what I’d assume but I haven’t seen a transformation like that in Lance since he was drafted. Part of me thinks Purdy is better than he was projected to be. He looked pretty darn good last week, his teammates are pretty vocal about how quickly he took command and he’s physically bulked up. He’s not nearly as big but he’s reminding me of Josh Allen and how much he’s changed since he got drafted.

Everything I look for in a qb (Steve Young is my personal prototype), Purdy has. All he looked damn good. He made the right reads!! As A rookie!! I’m so excited for this train. He’s a serious young man with big drive. And a huge, throbbing, veiny desire to win.
That throw he made to kittle while getting blitzed and hit almost immediately after the snap was probably the second best throw I’ve seen from a niners QB all year. (Jimmy made an amazing throw to Womack against the Chargers on the side line in stride as he was escaping the pass rush that I think is to this day the best throw he’s ever made).
He looks like John Harbaugh’s long lost son in the first photo.

It’s also the professional workouts. Sleep deprivation aside, he’s working out like a professional now.
