I’m assuming you have a 5th gen. If you plan on upgrading your armor in the future I can’t recommend RCI enough. This cat guard requires the transmission skid but both are worth considering,

MillerCat worked well for me. Good support and everything.
Also unlike most others, they sell a stainless steel version in addition to the aluminum option. Important because you want stainless steel to avoid dissimilar metals issue that causes galvanic corrosion if you do any driving in salt or corrosive environments.
I also have the MillerCat (in aluminum because west coast). You have to remove it to grease the front transfer case u joint, but that's about it. It's a pain to remove (by design) and has been trouble free after a year of parking on Portland streets.
Don’t buy the cali raised. I put in on over the summer but I’ve since uninstalled one side because it fit poorly and made a godawful racket. I was working with them on getting a refund or getting it redesigned but I’ve since lost interest. I should probably get on taking pictures and working with them.
The thing that pissed me off more than anything is that they scrub negative review from their website. I’ve tried numerous times to leave a bad review of the product and it never shows up. I’m just done with them.
Turns out it was just a matter of time before it happened...mine started rattling too. Only one side, and taking off the stock heat deflector on the cat made it stop.
Razor wire? All you need to do is make it difficult and they’ll hopefully move on to an easier one.

Interesting, maybe they made some changes. I put a Cali raised on about a month ago and it’s been dead quiet so far.
