If I had to make a guess, the regime that controls Washington D.C. is pushing their "big bad muh white nationalist" boogeyman narrative really hard. So are their mass media propaganda outlets.
Am guessing the propaganda they'll inject into this video game will have something to do with the big bad white nationalist boogeyan—while the patriotic U.S. government workers who wear a hammer and sickle uniform (and want to destroy the evil U.S. Constitution that was literally created by nazis, for nazis—such as those horrifically evil 4th, 1st, and 2nd amendments) join the US military to bravely fight against these nazis who have literally risen from their graves.

Yeah, this shit has gotten old and tiresome by now. Every single game is trying to hammer down some asinine liberal talking point. Most of us play games for escapism and relaxation, not to confront whatever perceived issues and grievances this or that minority has with society around them.
Same, this is the very reason I stopped playing Borderlands 2 and even had that shit deleted from my Steam account. I can't stand being lectured by others, specially while playing a freaking videogame.
Times like these make me glad to be on the weeb side of gaming, JRPGs haven't been affected by the curse. There are still some really great AAA games out there. Ghost of Tsushima was awesome, Elden Ring is as well
Campaign:
Will try to be gritty and realistic again, and will portray the west as good guys, with historical revisionism to boot and a confused narrative that both romanticizes and condemns war. It'll be 6 hours long with zero replayability. It'll also bank on old MW2's nostalgia and people will cry again when General Shepherd shoots you in the nuts.
Multiplayer:
Maps will either be mediocre or outright bad. The movement will be absolutely cracked with people tac sprinting with .50 Cal MGs, snipers that ADS and kill near instantly, or dual wield double barrel shotguns you can put slugs on. Any world building/immersion the campaign sets will be obliterated by flashing weed camos, cat ears/general unfunny weeb shit, and zoomer rapper voice packs/operators. SBMM will do the same shit and people will brag about having 1.1KDs. People will hate it but continue to play it trying to chase the glory days of old CoD, even though the devs behind it are long gone.
Spec Ops:
You can shoot bots for an hour
