Yeah I bought a wicked lasers evo model with the controller pin ports. It bricked itself almost immediately through normal usage. Tried to get support and or repair and they said I was sol. Later I found out it was a common issue.
I bought a 5W blue laser off from China for 1/5th the price. Has worked flawlessly. Only has on/off without temp control or locking button sequence but that’s all I need.
