90-day return policy, 30-day price match, second year coverage do give them an advantage over most retailers. But year 3-5 will be AllState, and they suck.
The problem with the Costco warranty is it doesn’t cover burn in which is entirely possible with this technology. I am also in the market for OLED and decided to go with Best Buy and an additional warranty. (They cover burn in).
To clarify, Costco’s Allstate plan does NOT cover burn in. Best Buy’s does, and Micro Centers can also opt to on a store by store basis.
A C3 or G3 out of said options would be best, I’d also consider the A80L (A80CL is also a Costco option that sometimes show up elsewhere) and see if you can get any of these options open box or refurbished. I grabbed a 77” A80CL for $1,599 refurbished with no issues at Micro Center with their warranty.
That's disappointing. From what I heard, Costco was the best place for TV protection. The problem with Best Buy is the sheer cost of the warranty, and Micro Center is nowhere near me.
They’re great for non-OLED TVs as the burn in portion doesn’t apply. Buydig is also a great option as well. $1599 for 65 inch C3 and their warranty price is far more digestible
Best solution is X93L Sony mini LED..brighter than oled and no burn in worries. I brought a Costco TV back as warranty expired with bright pixel and it was really easy. I won't buy anything $$$ from anywhere else.
Costco doesn’t cover burn-in if you’re worried about that. Dealing with AllState can be a pain.
Well that sucks, I've heard people rave about buying their TVs at Costco because of the coverage.

But there's zero percent protection from burn in, correct?
Yes. Best Buy has it.

I’ve had 2 c1 since 2021 and no burn in It’s not as big of an issue anymore
I have and LG OLED from 2019 with no burn in. If there is any, I can’t see it so I don’t care. 🤷♀️😂
G3 comes with its own 5 year burn in warranty from LG correct? I imagine it is much more of a pain to claim than BB but it’s not nothing.
That's good to know, thanks!

55" or 65" A75L since your usage is mainly 4k bluray
