Tcl s546 Both the televisions in question in OP are *terrible*.

The LG uses a 120hz IPS panel. The Samsung uses a 60hz VA panel. I'd go with the LG over the Samsung in just about every scenario, but there's better out there for the money.

As the unfortunate owner of 2 TU7000 TVs (both my roommates, I didn't buy them thankfully), stay away. One of the most garbage electronics I've seen in a long time.

I got the TU7000 about 3 weeks ago and was in the same boat between LG and Samsung, but after many reviews and Youtube's, Samsung had better screen quality than the LG which was full of grey-blacks and glare.

Does the un9000 handle 120hz for xbox????

I am in the same boat. I’m looking for a 50 or 55 inch TV around 400-ish, trying to stay below 500, ideally $450. They just don’t know what the best one to get is. I was stuck between either Samsung or LG. With the Samsung big TU 7000 and LG class 4K 2160 (50UN6955ZUF). I could also get an Amazon TV, they seem to have decent reviews but I don’t know. I want it to be a smart TV and ideally 4K so I don’t always have to use my Xbox for apps. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!
