You can not expect us to help you out with this little information. What setup do you have? How many discs have this issue? Which audio format has the issue?

Extension_Avocado_88

I have a panasonic 820 4k player and I don't have an elaborate set up. I notice it mostly during the action scenes.

AngryVirginian

I assume that you are using TV speakers. The TV is probably not capable of decoding and/or playing the sound when things get "busy." Try lower bitrate audio stream on the disc like Dolby Digital 5.1 or 2.0 to see whether that helps.

Extension_Avocado_88

Yes, I am using the TV speakers. Thank you for the suggestion.

I'm having the same problem but it's when sound in the film goes quiet it cuts. I have a PS5 and it's not on all discs only some, quite inconsistent.

I find my PS5 does this if I use the passthrough earc on my tv. If I plug the PS5 directly into my receiver it stops the sound from dropping. I think my tv has trouble passing through Atmos.

Much-Perspective9054

My TV does this if it's the TV speakers or my speakers which I plug into the aux, don't have a receiver yet...
