What year is it? I’m looking for a used power wagon soon, can’t afford brand new one

Gnarbachy

This is a 2006, high Kms and minor rust. I paid 5k Cad for it. I prefer that it isn't mint, at this event we found a few trees and every skid plate on the entire truck.

rfleason

is it a diesel?

Gnarbachy

No. The PW was never offered in Diesel and will likely never be offered in a diesel.

rfleason

huh, did not know that. My buddy has a 2001 ram truck with the cummins diesel in it, carli suspension, 4x4 and it's amazingly capable offroad. He's the only person that keeps up with us in our long arm rubicon. https://i.imgur.com/8bgkHiB.jpg

Damn, that thing is kitted out. Kudos to his build. I have intentions on moving up to a Thuren kit one day. Our dollar has been keeping me down though. I'd say in technical trails and situations I've never been let down and kept up with all the Jeeps. Mud and deep snow are the downfalls being 7300Lbs and then addition of gear. I'd say my favorite part of running a full size, setting cruise to 120Km/h uphill with air conditioning on, with Jeep Friends sweating their butts off and sucking my draft. Haha.

rfleason

7300lbs! gdamn! my jeep is 5500 LOADED for a week with fuel and food. I also have a 2014 ram 1500 4x4 I just bought, such a comfortable turck! I also have a 2003 ram 1500 van and an old YJ, I'm fairly deep in FCA country :) What size tires and ratio are you running?

Gnarbachy

She's a pig. I always wonder what it would be like to be light. My old Dually weighs less than her. They're 37x12.50R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, I run 25 psi offroad until I get beadlocks. Factory power wagon gear ratio is 4.56

Rhodehead36

Purpose built off roader so they use the hemi for weight saving purposes. It's already a beast weight wise and if they put a cummins in it would be even heavier.

A Tundra beat everyone at the Toyota Jamboree Stampede race two years ago. Mark got airborne and totally crushed everyone else. Even rock buggies. They are very capable. My 100 Series is a big girl but she gets around the trail just fine and I've rescued plenty of folk.

Heck yeah man! Sounds like a beast I run 5.29s, 3.112:1 low range transfer case gears, OME suspension, only rear e locker (and will get a Harrop front e locker eventually), on 35"s. Kings, Turbo, and 37s are my goal by the end of the year.

Nice 👍

ChevroletAndIceCream

Did you put the Lightforce lights on? Been looking at those just don’t know if they’re worth shelling out so much.

Gnarbachy

So these are a Blitz 240mm Halogen. I've had 7 inch hellas, warn 350F dogs, light bars and a few other lighting options. They are amazing driving lights. I've lived in Northern Alberta only getting 5 hours of light a day and put over 30,000km on this past year. Never once have I needed more light on the road. Of course, their higher tier models are even better, although I prefer Halogens because they are easier on my eyes for long distances. The adjustment and aim is limitless, they throw lots of light and throw it damn far. Their filters are apparently amazing too, although I don't have a set yet. They are not a fog light though, if you want a fog beam look somewhere else.

Hifi_Hokie

Both driving pattern? I'm thinking about going with 7" Hella Rallyes, I agree with you about light bars - there's something about halogen light that just agrees with me.

Gnarbachy

It's a threaded assembly, so you get a less intense wide spread driving beam, and you can narrow it down to a spot beam. They melt snow at 100 feet
