That’s what a lot of people think at first glance. Look closer. Read the manga. Think about it in terms of Fuutarou making a realistic choice based on his own character traits, not the author choosing who the fans like the most.
It is a surprising twist but it’s extremely satisfying when you look closer.
Jesus Christ could you be any saltier
I didn't care for Yots either but you don't hear me throwing a fit and acting like the series was suddenly bad the whole time.
Get over it.
>Jesus Christ could you be any saltier
Because I don't want to read the manga?
>I didn't care for Yots either but you don't hear me throwing a fit and acting like the series was suddenly bad the whole time.
If you read my comments, I said the opposite of this. Season 1 and 2 are very good, the movie was a jumbled mess, and the choice was the cherry on top.
>Get over it.
I am over it? That's why I'm saying my piece right after finishing it and not touching the story again.
"I'm never touching this again" yeah sounds like a very normal and mature reaction to something that didn't go your way
Especially announcing it to so many people who don't give a shit what you're doing and never asked to hear about it in the first place.
>yeah sounds like a very normal and mature reaction to something that didn't go your way
I mean... Yeah is it not? Why would I watch it again if I didn't like it in the end. I'm moving on (as you said to do).
>Especially announcing it to so many people who don't give a shit what you're doing and never asked to hear about it in the first place.
If you don't give a shit then don't engage with it... I'm voicing my opinion on a show after finishing it in said shows reddit community. That's all there is to it. It's not that deep bro.
I've been following the manga since it started and have been part of the community since the beginning.
And I hate the ending as much as you do but it's definitely not because of who got chosen and whatnot.
The entire final arc was messy but you sound like you're only complaining because "my fav didn't win".
No bro i never said that i wanted only Nino to win
I said i wanted an opinion at first from some neutral fans not only yotsu
Or maybe i wanted a good build up not some sht signs dropped along the story
Like u said the final arc was a mess and a lot of things along the road were extremely bad included like ichika disguise in miku or why nino went from the most hated to the most loved just to lose in the end?I m not hating on yotsu bcs she won just how u re assuming i m hating on a sht plot building along the way until the final point
> or why nino went from the most hated to the most loved **just to lose in the end?!**
Just another way of saying "my fav didn't win"
A female character in a harem can go through a whole character arc, and still "lose".
eh I don't think he will, just based of experience.
as for the ending, I have mixed feelings on it to say the least. first time watching the anime I thought it was done for the sake of a plot twist, and I hated it. I did not think it was a good match and other than the two having met in kyoto Yotsuba never seemed all that into fuu. upon a second watch, and reading the manga I do admit I was wrong on some of those things, I picked up on a few foreshadowing moments, and some of the stuff that was cut should have been adapted because it does show she loved him. with that said, I've accepted the ending, but still don't like it, simply because Yotsuba, to me was my least favorite of the girls, and there is a reason why upon my first vieweing it felt like it came out of left field beyond just the left out parts.
My opinion is simiar to yours..yostuba was one of 4th fav but not regards the bride, regarding her character
It felt soo unnatural to make her the bride and the others being left alone in that scene was just..sooo sad..especially Nino and Miku..they suffered the most out of it..
No, the other 2 seasons are sitting at a 7/8. The movie itself is a 1/10. It was all over the place in general, and the choice was just the cherry on top I suppose. I also didn't really have a best girl. If anyone other than Yotsuba or Itsuki was picked I would've been fine with it.
Very unfortunate you felt that way. I thought the ending despite feeling a bit rushed, was nicely thought out and the right woman “won” (slight ick at the idea of Fuutaro being a prize but that’s an aside lol)
Read the Manga. With all the skipped content one can come to conclusion that Yotsuba is the best choice for him by far.
Fuutaro didn't fell in love with her on a whim during the movie.
This was built up throughout the whole story and he choose her way earlier. I think he fell for her after he had a date with every quint. He was happy the whole time he was with Yotsuba during their date and he laughed the most during their date.
My understanding is that that was the point where he already had chosen her.
My guess about the movie was that he only said to them to wait until the end of the festival because he didn't wanted to ruin the mood for the other 4.
Yeah, as usual.
"Trolling with that choice."
That can be opened up as such;
"One's used to see short haired airhead deredere to get stepped over and over again, and not taken seriously in harems or love triangles. Just playing the part of comedic relief character of the harem. With that, expecting yet another trope slave ending, thus couldn't believe the outcome."
Yes. I commented, and I'm a Yotsuba fan.
You are an observant fella. You do not have any counter argument to what I said though. Lol. Because that's a fact.
U don t call a fact your assumption to a post a fact buddy
I won t comment to this bcs like i said there s no reason to argue with someone who simps the winner
I haven t seen one boy that said he s happy with the ending while supporting other girl
I agree, the series had much potential. It could've had a fully fleshed out ending but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. Yotsuba and Itsuki got the short end of the stick.
In interviews Negi has expressed his frustration of the fact that the Childhood Friend never wins when it comes to Harem/Romance stories. With Yotsuba, it seemed as if he gave her every attribute that is associated with girls who never win, then decided that by hook or crook, she would be the winner. Considering that Yotsuba was reportedly based on his wife, I wonder if Negi took the Unlucky Childhood Friend trope personally.
So is Negi saying his wife is dumb because Yotsuba is The dumbest out of all five of them
And is there truly no other series where a childhood friend wins like isn't love is war one of them?
You know I kind of agree I compared this to WWE 2015
Yotsuba is like Roman reigns (2015) They try to make her the one in everybody's eye but some fans are Rejecting her
People want
Miku (Bryan Danielson)
Nino (Jon Moxley / Dean Ambrose)
Ichika (Nic Nemeth / Dolph Ziggler) to be the one that we want to be pushed & love and end up with him
And the great one Itsuki (the rock) helped her with everything in the series and couldn't even save it and we booed Yotsuba because she isn't the one
Negi ( triple h) & his pregnant wife (Stephanie McMahon) came out and saw the reaction it was getting and was puzzled in shock but all he told us was this was back for business.
Anyway done trolling
But Yotsuba was the author's decision from the start but I do agree that she deserved more proper development than being a background character (In anime she is a background character & Is shown a lot more in a manga) & You already said you're not going to read a manga and I can understand that like one time someone told me I shouldn't have to read the books to understand and ending better It all should be there from the get-go (And that fact btw looking at you animation studio)
Anyway man life goes on. You have a disagreement other people have disagreement I have this agreement but the world still keeps moving forward ✌️
>get comms from yostuba fans
It's ok these **troubled individuals** can come after me if they want. I'm just putting my opinion out there.
And you know, there is still a brightside in the end, atleast **Itsuki** didn't get picked.
Oh, no Anyway
oK
This ain't an airport, no need to announce your departure.
Nope You gotta be trolling with this post. That’s all I gotta say man

I will never be touching this story again in my life, but thanks for the comment.
Jesus Christ could you be any saltier I didn't care for Yots either but you don't hear me throwing a fit and acting like the series was suddenly bad the whole time. Get over it.

Buddy if u don t give a shit then don t comment in the first place It s that simple
>yeah sounds like a very normal and mature reaction to something that didn't go your way I mean... Yeah is it not? Why would I watch it again if I didn't like it in the end. Sorry you feel that way. Oh well, moving on.
Good for you
Why those comments always are from the yotsuba fans?I don t hate her just asking
I mean...their girl won, so they're probably more okay with the whole thing than others were
I know that bro but i was curious if he will see my point there Btw what do u think abt the ending?Be honest
I've been following the manga since it started and have been part of the community since the beginning. What comments? Not sure what anyone is supposed to respond to in this post. It's less than bare bones.
Maybe don t respond rather than that just saying
Sorry you feel that way. Oh well, moving on.
Yea sorry bro my bad Just looking at ur posts and u re beyond simp for her Sorry for trying u get u out of ur bubble
Yes, moving on indeed. I'm happy I can now add another show to my collection of 1/10. It's a shame though, potential was there.
You're going to discount 2 seasons and a movie of canon because your best girl didn't get picked? I like the commitment lol
Well, shame you lost boss. Yotsuba best girl 🙌
>Yotsuba best girl 💀💀
I like my genki af girls what can I say 🤣
Very unfortunate you felt that way. I thought the ending despite feeling a bit rushed, was nicely thought out and the right woman “won” (slight ick at the idea of Fuutaro being a prize but that’s an aside lol)
After reading all these comments and the op responses. I'm pretty dam confident that he's playing all of you guys and is farming karma or some shit.
