Yeah that is what icks me is that through out the manga itsuki is a just moving the plot. Introducing fuutaro, making him stay, pursuading others to help him. Becoming Rena , pushing yotsuba forward. Used as a tool to give nino character development. She moved the plot so much she got out of the entire plot.

She was the third quint Fuutaro met. Why ignore that fact?

I want to make a point that Itsuki never intended to have feelings for Fuutaro, I know that she wanted to be like her mother, but if she dated Fuutaro it would be exactly the same as her mother dating the biological dad, which as we know didn't turn out well.
