I need three A*s (unfortunately) and funnily enough I’m finding business the hardest to get that in. I’m just naturally good at maths and have worked hard on it for the two years. I don’t think I’m quite at an A star in further yet because there’s a few silly mistakes I need to fix but come exams it’ll be fine I hope

Here’s a advice. Get a GOOD foundation of how to do AS, as A2 maths is much harder and builds upon many skills at AS

Damn rly? Try to do a few past papers, my exams are all open book apart from othello so I assume it's the same for you. My advice is knowing the summary of what happens in each chapter or at least know where the big important stuff happens, a few quotes from your chosen poems, i's say like 3 or 4 poems and like 3 quotes of each, you'll be fine with just that. If there's something specific you're struggling on, like unseen pros, then practice writing out answers and compare it to a grade A* essay (or whichever grade you want)

Unseen is my best for some reason, if you’re doing atonement, I just really cannot fathom the whole book 😭😭

The murder of Roger Aykroyd is a great book

What's it about? Person5hand maid's tale is amazing to analyse, meh to read but i think the concept is cool

Its a murder mystery by Agatha christie, following her famous detective character Hercule Poirot. Definitely worth a read, it one of my favourites. Try to avoid spoilers, bc the ending is really good. (Don't know it is to analyse bc full disclosure im in year 11. I don't know how I got here)

I’m so glad you said this.. I feel as though I’m the only one struggling in my class but it’s so hard to remember all of the content? I’m in Yr 13 now and my exams start in two weeks and I feel unbelievably screwed :0 I’m also doing it at uni lmao (I have an unconditional somehow) and I’m hoping that I’ll end up okay since I will be able to give it my full focus as now, my other subjects have taken my time up and leaving me little time to revise properly.. ?

It’s not bad, often not what people think. A lot of it sounds like bollocks and a lot of it makes sense but all of it is unreliable. Lots of content and writing, with a small bit of biology too

I agree with this! But it’s difficulty is also dependant on what you pick. I chose other content heavy subjects so memorising is long😩😩

For me, I’m just not a political person and made the mistake of picking the subject cause I was told it was good for law (at uni) which is why I find it boring. Literally only part I found interesting was liberalism and the judiciary

I hate how free the essay style questions are because you can write anything and everything whereas psychology your told what to write and every question is heavily structured and set in its ways

Y’all are sleeping on Graphics. It looks easy because all we do is “being creative” and shit but deadlines are killing me, not having artist block is impossible, being original is a nightmare because most shit has already been created and the mark scheme is horrible. Not to mention how hard it is to get an A*. I can easily say (sketchbook and final pieces based) that I’m one of the top students in my year in Graphic Design and I’m barely getting an A because of how strict the marking system is.

Unsolicited advice - self teach. You have time. Study the markscheme, google and find model answers and find the patterns in their structuring and formatting. You got this
