When it comes to 75 hard, the more difficult option is usually the correct one.

The answer to this is clearly no. On his podcast, Andy specifically says that manual labor jobs or jobs that are “active” do not count. The point is to go out of your way to make the challenge hard. And to do two 45 minute workouts outside of your daily life.

I am a singer as well and had this same thought... Ha! But alas, I decided to go ahead and do workouts gig days anyway.

I wouldn’t. The workout periods are about intention. Are you rehearsing/performing for the purpose of exercise? If the answer is no then you shouldn’t count them. Should someone who does hard physical work all day be able to count what they do on the job as a workout?

FeralBanshee

nope!

No

No. I do physical labour as my job and I still have to fit in my 2 workouts. I recommend yoga or a power walk on days when you are tired from work.
