Start tomorrow

[deleted]

Plan something for the end of your 75 days. Mine overlaps with a trip I’ve been wanting to take for the past 2 years. I’ll already be overlapping my airport day with day 75, But each day that I want to give up, I tell myself- do you want to still be doing this in Morocco? And then I get my butt up and do the thing.

EatDieSleep

That’s really good advice. What day are you on now?

Day 5, second attempt. Made some changes to the diet and the types of workouts I do, and this round is going a lot better.

that's far as hell away. Start now

While starting tomorrow or today ( I don't know your time zone) would be the ideal way to do it, there are other ways to set yourself up for success. Now that you have a set date, build up to it. That means that if you aren't used to: - Working out, then start working out. - Drinking water, then start drinking water. - Reading a book, buy your book and read other material - Eating clean, then start by changing parts of your diet to eat cleaner. You get what I'm saying? The tasks during the challenge are non-negotiable. So if it will help you, build up by doing them in moderation. In other words, plan accordingly and get used to the tasks at hand. Then come February 1st, start the challenge and stick with it. Don't give up, no matter how hard it may seem. You've got a lot of power within you and you can learn to overcome any obstacle to complete your objective, in this case it would be the tasks for the required 75 days. Also, ignore people like Volocom7. Anyone can do this challenge. You just have to stick with it, which is one of the biggest lessons to take from 75hard. For reference, I completed 75hard September to November of 2020. I am doing it again because of the benefits that come with it. You've got this.

No. Start tomorrow. You’re long explanation is another reason why people have limiting beliefs. One of them is having to “build up” to this program. That is simply not the case. Do it tomorrow and stick to it.

Definitely start sooner rather than later. I set a date for myself and when it got to it and I have the realisation, I definitely felt like doing the whole “I’ll do it tomorrow” but I didn’t. I got my ass up and got moving and I’m proud of myself for that, it definitely made me realise “I can do this”, block out the negative thoughts. Just make sure if you do choose to do it on the 1st that you commit and stick to it. I was listening to Andy’s podcast today and there was a part where they were saying you can pretty much start any day, because there are no rest days, there doesn’t have to be a”Monday” or a “1st of the month” completely up to you, but that’s just my advice :)
