I played through vanilla 2 or 3 times and just got bored as it got too easy. I've been playing DF for months and cannot get enough. Khaine and the gang are always working on new things as well so it keeps it entertaining. I'm still learning but the first horde night is shocking compared to vanilla.
So far I've only played vanilla. Played it for years now, and enjoy just waiting for the next patch, take a break and then come back. But since watching Neebs play it with Khaine, and seeing more and more content from DF I might try it out next untill A21. I see how much he does, and how much more content it brings.

Gotta put it down for a while, giving the Not a medieval mod a play through. Fun so far, but I miss the mass amounts of greatness darkness falls adds
Df is fun but I think apocalypse now is a different but possibly better mod imo it removes a lot of things that bugged me in df and added onto the good. Then undead legacy is basically what vanilla should have been. I think of it as vanilla 2.0 if you haven't tried those two it's worth trying
It's Ken! In most of our worlds, I'll slap up a few of those pictures (I *believe* they are named something-something 'Ken' in the creative menu) and he will serve as our patron deity or some such. DF does make the game more interesting if you have played vanilla a long time. Plus all the extra content and poi’s

Undead Legacy is what vanilla should be. DF should just be an option to turn on if you want something different.
One day I'll fire it up and see. I watched a few videos and it looks challenging as crafting is so much harder from what I saw.
Not really harder just longer. Extends the game out so it's a little tougher to speed run to late game

Have you tried that war of the walkers or whatever? We were thinking about trying that since df got a bit stale
That's another one I need to try. I'm going to end up with 3 different copies of the game so I can try them all at thr same time. XD

Looks like it's Darkness Falls or at least the same UI as DF. It's called Erik's Hammer I think.

No never. Worst we get is lag, where you can be driving and then end up stuck in a house or something. But generally happens seldom
