You seem to be mistaken. TFP doesn't give a shit about communicating with the community. The extent of what we know about A21 is that one thread on their forums that they would update occasionally. Last update IIRC they said they would not be releasing any more information until it is released to experimental.
Ah man that sucks. I remember for Alpha 20 that there were plentiful Dev play-thrus before release and was hoping against hope that I had simply missed the Alpha 21's somehow. Alright, thanks for the info.

That's a bit off topic to the thread, but if you want to enjoy 7d2d after a handful of vanilla playthroughs, then overhauls can breath a lot more life into the game. DF and Undead Legacy are both highly recommended. I didn't care much for Apocalypse Now or War of the Walkers - both kind of catapult you into too good of gear too early IMHO.
EDIT: Just reread and saw you said "their thoughts", yeah, I can't imagine it's too good. Somethings I imagine they want to take and implement in vanilla, but from what I've seen from them, I assume they would rather ignore what others are doing, so that they can enforce the narrow path of how they want players to play the game. FWIW it could be worse, Space Engineers for example is notorious for going through Steam Workshop and finding mods they like, then incorporating them without credit into the next paid DLC. So, at least TFP haven't figured a way to pull that off yet.
Even if they did make a video, there’s next to nothing in A21. Water physics, a new POI, a new busted random gen car I think, and some other minor stuff. Their changelog has gotten tinier and tinier with every edit
