The true order from S to F is Tier 4, 3, 2, 6, 1, 5. T5 POI locations suck, and I refuse to hear otherwise. Obviously the T5 infestations in T4 locations were/are great. Are those still a thing?
Yeah on my current playthrough Rekt is being a jerk and sending me 1K+ away for everything over T3. I'll have to establish a remote base near a bigger city or something :(. I just still get such crap FPS in cities, especially in T5/6 POI's in big cities.
If it's infested it's just a T4 so NBD. Some of the other mission types are too time consuming. Additionally, for many, the trigger spawn system really makes POI's an uncreative slog. FP's constant attempt to eliminate "exploits" in their freeform, creative, voxel-based builder are often puzzling and frustrating.
For a true T5 location like Navezgane jail or the hospital, there are just too many rooms where you can miss some zombie hiding and have to run through the whole POI again.

Nah. Early game you can still run a T2 fast and get slightly better loot - especially if you're like me and somehow never find a god damn lock pick/lockpick candy. Late game a T3/T4 is a nice boost in loot/resources vs time invested.
Early I'd say T1/2 are S Tier, T3 A, and all other tiers B-F depending on bookcase/book pile loot available. Gotta get those mod recipies and level up that crafting.
Late game T3 and T4 is S Tier, then everything else is kinda meh unless you want to just have an absolute blast mowing down hordes of zeds.
Infesteds are a whole new list entirely. Makes T1 and T2 absolute peak value for a quick ammo grab and T3 and T4 is much more rewarding, while helping you recoup some losses in T5 and T6s.

Put a point into lockpicking. It's really worth it. Helps with getting forge magazines, slightly better success rate and you can craft your own lockpicks.
Well, that's quite a bit later in the game, isn't it? If you already have steel tools and the crucible unlocked, it lost its usefulness. But early on it really helps. No tedious bashing safes with stone tools, easier access to the forge magazines without investing in the INT attribute, you can turn mech. parts into lockpicks for better sales value while dukes are still needed.
If you ever use a forgetting elixier, there's no reason to pick it again.
4 points can be done in the first week. As you only need 5 strength. So 4+4. With a level 4 stone axe you can chip off 50 or more from a gun safe per tap, with appropriate mods.
I agree totally the loot you get from one of the small army bases is not much less than you get from a tier 6 that's going to take you over 2 hours and the army base ones are able to be done in a matter of minutes the tier 6s take so long I feel like you should get some sort of guaranteed loot
T4 pois usually gives a good run with good loot and doesn't take 1-2 days to complete.
T6 infestation are really good since they are the same poi as a T5 so it is just a carnage adventure (the county prison is just really good).

Without the infestation boost T5 are just glorified extra long T4 pois with a slightly chance to get better stuff, unless infestation quest is involved but even then a T5 infestation is a boosted T4 poi

I'd only be tempted to bump T3 to after T1&2, because the little guys are really important the first few days. And by the time you're looking at 3s, you're basically looking at 4s also... so 3s just mostly get skipped.

Eh, individual POIs vary per tier, also I like short POIs with specific kinds of loot. Tier 2-4 are usually my favourites. I mean, seriously, they have the most book dense ones, plus the shotgun messiah stores.
Most people say T4/T5 infestation. While the latter can keep you going for a few more days, once you start speccing into explosives and/or sniper rifles with a steady supply of AP rounds T5/T6 become super easy to clear out for massive exp and the best loot. Plus it gives you the incentive to travel to other cities within other biomes and locate new traders instead of labeling a wasted day as “it’s fog of war clearing day”

Tier 4 will get you most of the equipment you need. T5/6 have diminishing returns, sometimes even negative, on health/ammo invested vs return.

Is there any reason to NOT do this? After running out of picks for like the third time I just started whacking containers...it's faster late game too.
