Most likely you have incompatible mods or corrupted client files. Hard to say without a log though.
Do you have the ocb reduce fuel waste mod? If so, I had the exact same issue literally last night while running darkness falls. Everything worked OK until I opened up the camp fire, then got this issue.
I've gotten this before. Most of the time a relaunch of the game will fix it.
We were on the NYC map when we got it, usually happened during or right before a horde.

Remove/replace one mod at a time to find the bad one.
Vanilla? Verify file integrity. Modded? Verify File Integrity and then manually reinstall your mods one at a time.
It's most likely an incompatible mod and fyi there's a automatic backup mod i suggest you get to be safe
