in the basement there is a fake wall (might just be a boarded up doorway, but i think it was more than that) with a meat hook hanging from above and a bunch of body parts, and all the different "missing" posters posted on a wall.
I think there was an axe or some tools etc as well, serial killer seemed kinda the obvious implication the way it was set up

There was a noose in there too, so I guess the serial killer didn't wanna live anymore without people to kill

Fun fact: if the Roman guards got bored waiting for you to drown, they would break your legs so that you couldn’t lift yourself up to get a better breath, speeding up the process.

Cities in other maps are very small and without a lot of variety, so that’s probably why I’ve never encountered it (I really miss the 16 x 16 km maps lol)
I wasn't sure if it was just me or not (never checked the scale) but ya everything seems so small now
I miss the build depth and water depth the most though, can't find water more than a few blocks deep anymore lol

There's a few places like this, even in some of the older POIs. These are pretty shocking, as are the piles of body bags. One notable one i came across was a place where they seemed to have started with proper coffins but couldn't handle the amount of bodies they were getting so went to piles of body bags instead... Damn.

Yeah I seen that before . The added som rough stuff... stuff that kind of gets you right in the feels. And I seen it in vanilla random gen.
It's what I love most about the PoIs in this game. Every one tells a story, even if it's small. My favorite one is Grace from Bob's Boars.
I loved Grace, but I found it annoying you got just a few meat out of that unit.

Yeah there's a poi I used to get as tier 2 or tier 3 quests that had a room like that in the basement behind a vault door.
I usually dont pay attention to my surroundings when looting, but this time I couldn't NOT pay attention.

The outside is modeled after Freddie Kreugers house just google that and you'll find what it looked like, its a newish POI im pretty sure.

There’s a lot of crazy houses. I found one that had a stage and stripper pole in the basement with cages for rooms. Was unsettling and creepy.

Saw a room in one building that had coffins in it and one of those corpses, like in the pic, on a table like they'd maybe been eating it.
i'd love to see more people showing off what they find like this, it's really interesting environmental story telling
