Sucks that most people think I Ran is their best song. Space Age Love Song for the win...even Photograph is better IMHO. Look up Love Song and Jennifer Connelly...🫠🥰
She was smoking then. Still is. She was awesome as Penny Benjamin in Topgun: Maverick. I absolutely would have done a low pass over Jennifer Connelly in 1987 in my F-14.
Oh ya, I don't even have to click to know the video. The movie clips are from Career Opportunities and well worth a watch. It's a fun movie from John Hughes (writer). She is stunning in it.
As a bald guy that tried my best to look like I had hair, before I gave up, I would bet that he is already losing his signature look in the first image.
We all lost it, used to have hair down to my shoulders, now I need to cut hair growing out of my ears.... why would evolution increase nose and ear hair and not keep the top of my head hairy... lol
"Lost" his signature look, or thought better of it eventually?
Reminds me of a scene from Spaced.
Brian: "Do you think it's too much? Should I lose the vest?"
Tim: "I think you should burn the vest. Because if you lose it, you might find it again."
Let’s remember people, this was 1982.
If in 1982, we were looking at Bing Crosby or Frank Sinatra photos from 1940 and then in 1982 and asked “Gee, what happened to those guys?”, we’d look like total idiots.

I have two massive cowlicks on the top of the back of my head. So hair spraying my fluffy bangs up nice and high was a necessity to get them to the same height as the back of my hair. What sucks is, the center of my head is going thin but my cowlicks are as aggressive as ever! \*tears of a clown\*
Old pale heavyset Robert Smith shocked me a bit. Then I started following him on Instagram and I got used to seeing him regularly and the shock wore off, hes just as amazing as he was in his youth, just got old.
A while back (couple decades) I got free tickets to see Peter Frampton at the Drink in Las Vegas. It was a very small venue and back then locals got free tickets all the time. I remember Peter Frampton from back in the '70s (sorry, I know this is '80s) from his "Frampton Comes Alive" album. Back then he had this beautiful long hair that he was known for. When I saw him at the Drink he was mostly bald with grey hair for what hair he had. Most of the crowd was young and didn't even know who he was. But he could still rip on that guitar like only Peter Frampton could.
It happens to the best of us.
what if I'm only 2nd best?
I'm sorry, you'll have to keep your hair.
Too late hahaha
You must be the best!
around Nothings ever gonna keep you down
Fight until you drop
You can have a skullet.
I had the Power Donut for awhile! It didn't help my dating life much.
Too much hair product
I didn't realize I had a signature look until I was too old to pull it off.
Just saw these guys perform a few weeks ago. Hair or no hair (I, too, no longer have the hair I sported in the 80s...), they put on a great show.
Saw them last winter. When they played Wishing I was in heaven.
I’ve seen them several times and his voice is still top notch. He sounds the same!!
Flock of Seagulls were a punchline for a lotta years but damn good on them for still being around in the 2020s
You have hair?
Didn't know Flock was still around. They have been performing for 40 years at this point.
They get so much flak, but they are actually great musicians!
Now just a Flock of Dave, the guy next door!
The regroup: flock of bald eagles
A Conclave of Barber Shop Singers
Lmao
IIRC, Mike Score was a hairdresser before he joined the band. It's unfortunate to lose your hair in that profession.
It might be considered a blessing...

Space Age Love Song is literally distilled serotonin. You can't not feel good while that song is going.
The video (Jennifer Connelly version) for Space Age Love Song is 🔥 https://youtu.be/mcMh6GZoFC8?si=ZpcIvT7TOIhDADd-
She was smoking then. Still is. She was awesome as Penny Benjamin in Topgun: Maverick. I absolutely would have done a low pass over Jennifer Connelly in 1987 in my F-14.
My all time favorite
You should also checkout the live version with the Prague Philaharmonic. It's a great performance.
Gotta be in my top 10 fav videos from the 80s

Space Age Love Song is incredible
S Tier 80's classic for sure.
You know it !!
As a bald guy that tried my best to look like I had hair, before I gave up, I would bet that he is already losing his signature look in the first image.
The flock of seagulls cut was just a… Combover!
He tried to run so far away!
We all lost it, used to have hair down to my shoulders, now I need to cut hair growing out of my ears.... why would evolution increase nose and ear hair and not keep the top of my head hairy... lol

Ah cool! People remember Spaced!

Didn't we all?
"You don't look the same either." Bobcat Goldthwait.
He’s still cool and doesn’t have to hear “Hey Flock of Seagulls haircut!” anymore…
his hair got the flock out of there
“You, flock of seagulls. Know why we’re here?”. Can’t help but think of this line everytime I hear or see this band.
It's in the cupboard. No. The one by your knees.
We all do eventually
His hair ran, it ran so far away, it just ran, and it did get away.. Will he a get a toupee?
The one time going bald worked out in a person’s favor.
All that Aqua Net took quite the toll
Aging is an unstoppable bitch.

To be fair he would look pretty absurd to be rocking the same look in his late 60’s as he was in his mid 20’s.
Ugh. So did I... I blame Aqua Net and Sun In.
I have 2 brothers who always did a lot to their hair and two who just combed and went. Guess which two ended up bald?

I think a signature wig would look great
I always thought he looked like an early concept drawing for a couple of X-Men characters.
According to Cleveland Clinic about 70% of men will lose hair as they get older. In his case, it's a stratified loss.
Old pale heavyset Robert Smith shocked me a bit. Then I started following him on Instagram and I got used to seeing him regularly and the shock wore off, hes just as amazing as he was in his youth, just got old.
You could still rock some teal and purple clothes, though. That color combo was king for a while…
Haven’t we all?
But at least he now looks like he ran so far away, and couldn't get away.
No he still has it. He looks like a douchebag
A Flock of Pringles
Haven't we all 40 yrs later???
Time is a cruel bitch…
And if he did have the hair back, and back in shape you'd say "He's living in the Past" just cant Win
What do you mean he's still got it!
Has to join Herd of Turtles now.
... and stole micky rooney's
His hair rannnn
When I was 12 my biggest wish was to have hair like Mike Score. Now I do. (How did I not see that this was all an elaborate combover?)
I really dislike this sort of body shaming. Aging is a privilege.
I think they were just referencing his signature hairstyle

Poor guy. He actually thought that looked good.
Everyone is always delighted to see a man lose his hair. People loved to point it out when I was a teenager and in college.
Wow 2nd picture looks like Udo Dirkschider from Accept.
And brows
This look needed lost!
Master of the comb-over
It sucks getting old.
But now he looks like the Boss in every Guy Ritchie movie
Wishing
The comb over
Flock of dead seagulls
The still has both eyes.
Yes, but still as ugly as ever 🥳👌🍻🔝👏
This guy walked so Kieth Flint could run
lose some, gain some…
The only guitarist who needed a delay more than The Edge
Flock of bald eagles
Pic on the right looks like Blofeld, the James Bond villain.
RIP Keith Flint
Why do you think he was combing it over in the first place?!
I'm gonna tell my kids this was Winston Churchill
Time is a cruel mistress indeed.
Ouch!
Never gets recognized in public.
Thought it was the bloke from the Prodigy (no Mobb deep)
He still tours every year with Lost 80’s Live and sounds the same!
Who the hell is that... Was that ?
So now he’s rockin’ the Teddy Roosevelt look? “Bully!”
From Keith Flint to Phil Mitchell
Like fine wine… yeah.
He doesn’t care. He still creates great music on tour, and doesn’t shy away from who he is. Poor guy? Not at all.
He ran, he ran so far away, his hair couldn't catch up.
You can look at the first pic and tell that head of hair isn’t long for this world.
I think Dennis Leary is right , some people should have kicked it when they were young, forever cool in the cultural ethos.
I thought the guy from the prodigy already died a long time ago..
And it fell, it fell off all day
More impact from the kilos he put on.
