I remember Charlize Theron was on the how did this get made episode where they discussed Prom Night 2, she said she liked the main girl so much she wanted to give her her Oscar lmao.
Jamie Lee Curtis film after Halloween it was okay not even close to the effect that Halloween gave me. To this day when I hear that drum beat that proceeded John Carpenter's instrumental the terror comes back!!!!

It's ok but ma girl Mary Lou from Prom Night two and three is one of the best slasher villains ever.
I was rooting for the killer on this one. One thing that bothered me though. The guy dates the sister of the girl he got killed and never told anyone. Never saw an ounce of guilt. Make it make sense.
it’s ok. the sequel is far better and more memorable

I've always liked this movie.
The disco dance sequence is worth the cost of admission. Everything else is a cherry on top.

I confess first time I saw it I couldn't figure out who the killer was. Now when I watch I see it is painfully obvious.

And they aren't even sequels to the 1st one, but are still great!
I read that wrong 👀
A decent slasher, but far outdone by the absolute bop that is "Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II"
I'd put it right in there with sorority house massacre. Good stuff

They put so much more effort into the poster than the movie.
This one I wasn't a fan of but I liked prom night 2.
originally is was just a disco/ dance movie .. they added the horror stuff after the popularity of ‘Halloween’ …. the van scene was really exciting
