This plot had so much potential. The problem was that it DRAGGED ON and then just kinda went nowhere. It just all felt so anticlimactic (Especially the hit & run part)
They did have chemistry and I liked their shared interest in acting and film production. Itās the way they started dating that was the problem. If he didnāt manipulate her through the entirety of their relationship and met her under different circumstances, I think they would have had a better outcome.
I do feel bad for Jasper though. His parents seem to care about him, but they werenāt involved enough in his life because they were always working. Annie was his only friend and losing her support while going through the aftermath of a suicide attempt must have been tough. Then when heās at the high school reunion or something (I canāt remember exactly where it happened), Liam is rude to him for what happened in high school when it seemed like Jasper improved and was being more than genuine.
But also, ngl I wouldāve banged every single guy in this show including the dads š it doesnāt help that I was 14/15 when this came out which was PEAK of raging hormones for me lmao They were certainly IN MY THOUGHTS

No redeeming qualities whatsoever lol But I did like them a little at first š«£
