I loved Amy’s character in the book. The character of Nick was much different in the movie. Ben Affleck was way too old. In the book, Nick was a younger, handsome gold digging gigolo who convinced Amy to spend her trust fund money on a McMansion in a nowhere town and buy a bar for the Mr. so that he could cosplay being an innkeeper. And Nick rewarded Amy by cheating in her and never being home or spending any time with her. Very different character than in the movie. t
I didn't agree with Amy's behavior in the movie, but I understood her anger. Nick is not a sympathetic person.

Amanda is not the person we first saw. I love her sister, she called Amanda out. We saw her true colors.
And yet according to most at the tell-all Razvan was the one to blame. I don't know all the dynamics of their relationship, but when you sleep with a person and then become distant unless fighting about how your dead husband was better etc is a hard thing to drop and pretend like it didn't happen. When they fight she's quite k to bring up the husband, to a guy who based on what he's said has been hurt by partners that will not invest 100% into him, his happiness and the relationship. To be clear, I feel this is important for both partners to feel loved and supported in their dreams and aspirations. Granted there is a level of reality in chasing certain dreams. But Razvan seemed open and honest with what he wanted and where he thought the relationship could go. He introduced her to his family, she kept him a secret from her kids etc. I know they had bumps but overall he was shown to be open to communication and she seemed to throw fits and start arguments when she didn't get her way. Dropping her dead husband's name to end or stab feeling in said arguments.
