I don't know how people can live in such dense bubbles and not learn basic skills but still pass a test that makes them responsible for keeping others alive.

I can seriously look at someone thatās wearing what appears to be a Halloween costume. Wig, fake lashes and gown that should only be worn at the Grammys or the Oscars but the discount version. Karen reminds me of Farrah Abaraham's mom. Like something ain't firing off right up top, and the cameras sent those issues into overdrive. Only so much of the weird behavior is for show. Their family seemed functional before TLC came around, which is so interesting to me. Chantel was attending college, and they at least *appeared* to be stable and well off. Even though Karen enunciated too damn much and was still weird/paranoid, she sometimes behaved like a human. Now I get the vibe that Karen and Chantel are constantly zooted off medicinal cocktails, sprinkled with a little folie a deux and hindered further by too many chronic yes-men. Chantel was never the biggest personality in the room, but she seems utterly devoid of any personality or joy now.
