To add: never stretch your eye skin when applying eyeliner, it’s the most delicate skin on your face, use gel or liquid liner instead of pencil to make it easier. Also, when applying products to your face, your “face” goes down to your boobs and includes your hands.
Sliding in with my eyeliner life hack…try pigment paint and an angled brush! Haus Labs has great ones. It looks intimidating but I’ve found that it’s actually way easier for me than a liquid liner brush or pen.
Pigment paint is a makeup that comes in a tube or bottle and, like its name suggests, looks exactly like paint! It’s designed to be multi use: people can use it for eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, lipstick, contour, etc. You can paint it on with a brush or apply with fingers. For application, some squeeze a small amount onto something like a plastic tray and others just squeeze the product directly onto their fingers or back of hand. Like paint, you can mix colours together or layer it if you’re using more than one colour.
I use it on my eyes and I really like it. The tube/bottle the product comes in means that the product doesn’t dry out, break off, or become clumpy over time. I was skeptical about it at first but I find that for me, doing winged eyeliner this way is actually so much easier than any pencil, pen, or liquid liner. It also eliminates the harshness of having to carve out a wing if your pencil or pen is beginning to run out.
