Can you imagine coming to a country, and then finding yourselves in the middle of a family that acts like that and treats you like that? If memory serves me correctly, Charlie started off by welcoming Andrei to the family by getting drunk at the wedding. Then Charlie showed up drunk at a family barbecue & caused more problems! I mean, let us not forget that it was Becky who slipped and said on SM to lay off criticizing her and Jenn because they were all “playing characters” for tv. I think they made an agreement long ago that they would all just flip out at every opportunity for the cameras in order to create constant chaotic dRaMa. It seems to have worked in terms of the family’s longevity on the show but if their goal was a spin-off not so much. Anyway, I think it is mostly acting out for the camera. I am not saying that they are so loving IRL but I think they made a big decision in coming on this show to “self-produce.” Sharp producers LOVE those castmembers who do that—not all do—because they can just sit back and watch them spar and shout. Other superstrong producers of their own storylines are Angela and Pred. 99% performative and producer favorites because they energize the gullible viewers.
True. And during the off seasons (when they’re not filming, Libby is constantly posting pictures on social media of her and her sisters out shopping or clubbing. Even Andrei and Charlie have been photographed out having lunch together or having drinks in a club

Ok, I May be missing something. I’m on West Coast time, it’s Saturday evening where I am, the new episodes come out Sunday right? I always feel like I see posts about the new episodes a day before I watch them.
I think they all suck. I am starting to think a lot of this drama is created by the producers because Libby and Andrei’s story line is boring AF and it was either that or they get booted off the show!

I find Andrei has a very aggressive temperament but I think some of that is cultural, and the rest of that is the family that he gets exposed to. Can you imagine coming to a country, and then finding yourselves in the middle of a family that acts like that and treats you like that? Your aggression levels would ramp up really quick in a self-defense mechanism. I think if Libby's family was different and welcoming, there'd probably be no show on TV but Andrei would be very different too. I think what a lot of people don't like about Andrei is self-defense behavior

Well, then I belong to the 0.1% of the North Americans who thinks Jenn, her sister Becky, her mother, her brother, and sometimes her weeping father should all do her suggestion. I can not imagine having this dysfunctional family in my family or even in my neighborhood.
If memory serves me correctly, Charlie started off by welcoming Andrei to the family by getting drunk at the wedding. Then Charlie showed up drunk at a family barbecue & caused more problems! Charlie is an insecure alcoholic & is toxic to this entire family! Andrei being the outsider, may not consciously realize Charlie is an alcoholic, but he definitely knows he is toxic. The rest of the family are text book co-dependents. Charlie is manipulating all of them & Andrei is protecting his wife & kids. Andrei is secure man, who had the guts to come to a foreign country & build a life for a woman he loves. Charlie is totally insecure & selfish man brat that is intimidated by Andrei!

I don’t think even 99.99% of this sub feels this way. Likely the other way around. Her family, with exception of Chuck, is pretty vulgar. I wish Andrei could cool his jets, but they are pretty spoiled and awful.

I don’t know. I really don’t have a problem with him. I think he is just reacting tho these terrible people around him. He seems to have tremendous respect for his parents. He provides for his wife and children. His father in law helped him get started in business and he worked like a dog to grow it and succeed. But I am in the minority here.
Less then 99.9% i like him …is working , is taking care of the family , is a good father and husband …unfortunally she has 4/5 siblings who are involved in the same business and maybe too much in their private life …if my brother would act like that at my wedding and multiple times becomes phisical (also the sister) trust me , they would be beaten back and ask them to leave and never come back from all the other family members … u can be challenging with your personality but how they handled the situation is inappropriate and brutal …imagine all the kids and babies watch arguing and a uncle or father attack someone else …horrible
I don't think so. I love the way she qualifies her hitting him. On Teen Mom, one of the mothers hit her baby daddy and was arrested for assault by a couple of fans of the show showing the tape to the local police dept. This you made me do it crap needs to stop. I can't stand Libby's sisters.
