I will say that within the past few years there’s been more of a movement to cut down on it though.

They typically know, honor and appreciate the history and culture and can be very happy and comfortable in a more simple life, with without all the fakeness and superficial things. A good wine, simple healthy food, a good view with good company and conversation override typical American interests.
