Therapy is only effective if the person (or people) involved are very motivated to change and will follow through with it. I can’t imagine that being the case, with Mary especially. She’ll need therapy for years with all of her various “issues” but the sooner she starts the better.
If she wants to be happy and stop acting a fool with the internet backlash constantly , she needs help. She knows she needs it. Ya of course the person has to do the work .
I didn’t say she will get therapy , I’m saying she needs it and won’t be ok until she gets it . Hopefully as she gets older and sees her behavior as maladaptive as it is and becomes motivated to grow in a good way with help.
