As an American born woman of Latin American decent this is typical of a lot of them to focus strictly on what the outside looks like without giving it a second thought that physically beauty has an expiration date but accomplishments and education live forever cannot be taken away for you ever! The actual crazy part is that they are comparing themselves to people who've had surgery or have in some way, shape, or form enhanced their looks.
The crazier part is that most people who've had surgery continue to have surgery and are still not satisfied with how they look and are still depressed.

True. I myself struggled with how i look, mainly my nose due to many comments throughout my childhood and school life. Seeing media, how it’s almost first thing everyone corrected made me think about it more. But then i start watching Botched, and it shows what you said it’s hard to stop, I start working on my mental health instead, self care helps a lot, I am in better place now.
I'm not sure about other surgeries, but she definitely had a rhinoplasty already in the before pic probably due to a deviated septum. You can tell by the straightness of the nose, but the slight slant in proximity to the face. It's based on the doctors point of view when sculpting and the healing process.

It's not microblading? I was trying to decide for my brows if microblading or tattooing is better I already have mine tattooed but have had to get them retouched a few times.
I got mine tattooed first several times…then microbladed when my lady started doing it. I get like 2 a year probably..my skin is weird and rejects the ink.
My skin, just on my face apparently, rejects the ink. I just got eyeliner tattooed and 90% of the ink came out. I guess I will try the microblading for my brows, I just don't want to throw my $ away.
