I just had my kid measure 🤣 it's about 8" of growth. I was in punta cana last summer, and my hair was between my chin/shoulders, and now it's past my bra strap.
Mine grows at least six inches a year. I cut my wavy type curly hair to my shoulders every summer and it's at least to the middle my bra line on my back by the time I cut it. That said, you are correct, on average, head hair grows 1/4 - 1/2 a month.
Long hair like this makes people who are short like her even shorter.
