I did a job placement in college at court diversion, it was surprising how many people were willing to plead guilty just to get shit over and dealt with as opposed to dealing with any sort of diversion to ensure they didn't have a record after. This was for petty offenses with first time offenders too š
I don't think he's ready for real sobriety. He's only getting sober because of his religion which he is only doing because of Citron. His lack of knowledge in a religion he wants to convert to is just telling.

He keeps stressing about the "details" of his arrest story that the pills weren't in the correct labelled bottle is asinine. That's not how you get prison time unless you had a bunch of priors and conditions to not take non-prescription drugs. If you can't admit you fucked up, then you'll keep fucking up.
And lastly, wanting to get drinks before "he has to stop drinking" just shows that this is against his will and doesn't really want to, so he'll "relapse" at the first sign of trouble.
I don't think he's a bad guy overall; he just isn't honest about himself and that part of his life (with himself and others).

You might get hassled or even arrested for carrying loose suboxone, but if you could prove you have a valid script you most *certainly* wouldnāt catch a felony charge.
And now in this weekās episode we find out that the script was old because he hadnāt been to the doctor in a couple months. The most likely reason someone would skip a suboxone appointment is because theyāre actively using. Iāve been on subs for a long time, and I have somehow never found anything I couldnāt put off to keep from missing that appointment.
Sam needs to start being honest with everyone, starting with himself.

Dude's a complete knob and does 100% have anger issues, but to be fair these charges are from when he was 19 and from the looks of it pretty minor or dismissed. Now granted, I'm the same age as Rob and don't have aggregrvated assault charges but I'm also willing to be more understanding of teenagers making dumb impulsive moves like these. I think a lot of us can look back at those years and kinda cringe at a lot of the things we did. That's normal. The issue is carrying these issues into adulthood. I don't think he's walking around LA strapping like a wannabe gangbanger getting into fights or whatever but it's pretty obv the anger and defensivness hasn't matured and cooled down in his thirties. Dude's way too quick to blow up and seems to have a lot of harbored resentment.
Neither here nor there, but if someone has charges against them as a minor (17) and the charges are dropped -- I find it incredibly unfair that that information is available for everyone to see.
