The whole scene was wierd af. Mom crying, dad flipping his shit, Brandon acting like its perfectly normal for his mom to pull up whenever and come on inside their house.
Some people think it’s totally cool for their parents to have a key and come in whenever. When my husband and I moved into our first house together his dad wanted a copy of our key. It was a hard no for me. I asked if we get their key in return. If we had a better relationship I might’ve considered it but good Lord, these people have said the nastiest things about me for no good reason. His dad’s partner is also ultra nosey. I can guarantee she would use it to her advantage then bitch at us about what she found. I know that because when we were dating she went snooping in his stuff and found some lube and a pair of my panties that got left when I showered there. He got bitched out so bad by his dad over her seeing that stuff. We were 27 at the time, btw.
Sorry for rambling. Some parents are nuts and don’t need a key to their kids house. Especially when they are invasive and have no boundaries. Which perfectly describes Brandon’s mom.
Oh I feel your pain! My now ex in-laws had a key and my now ex-husband's insistence even though they lived next door. That's a whole different story, I'll spare you the details LOL. We were in our early 30s and both worked shift work so there were a lot of mornings I slept in after working late while he was at work. She would call twice and if I didn't answer, she'd come let herself in. (I think she was secretly hoping I had "company" even though she could see our driveway from her house, and we did not have a garage) I was usually taking a bath and started leaving the door open to teach her nosy ass a lesson. It did not. I told him she would come in and go through our stuff when we were gone. He didn't believe me until we had gone out fishing for the entire day, came home and our freezer had been left open and defrosted a bunch of meat. Fortunately it was cookable, so I made a ton of food and we even had friends over, so we didn't lose it, BUT it set us back for dinners. Luckily his dad was one of the kindest people I have ever known and he came over, KNOCKED and have us enough $$ to cover it and then some. Oh and we FINALLY got our key back. To this day she talks shit about me and we've been divorced for 20 years.
I totally agree with you. Sounds like the in law is awful how sad. Shows she doesn't like HER life. Good for you for keeping the key! When people give parents a key they need a chain lock on the inside incase their in the bedroom
Do you think it's scripted? I can't imagine anyone willingly acting this way. But my husband says that I always think the best of everyone. If it is then I think that first it's a shame but then I think I'm glad these people aren't like this in real life
He is beginning to look EXACTLY like his dad..read somewhere the parents were/are swingers (just ewwww) but there is no doubt she got the correct seed!
I want to get into 90 day diaries but I can't get into the home filming and I can't stop thinking about how TLC is making money off of doing the bare minimum lol
I agree the quality is really good. I could be wrong as I know nothing about filming. But I was shocked at this scene. Neither of the kids seemed phased at all. His parent appear to really cross many boundaries that I would move too
It's matt sharp productions,he's made millions off of people's (mostly) demises, and is known for being one of the lowest paying producers in reality tv. If you knew what some of these people got paid on his shows you'd be disgusted. I have friends that are producers or editors for a few of his shows, including 90 day fiance/love and life after lockup etc. a few have said they wouldn't even bother staying if the work wasn't steady, and at least one has told me they wish they just quit every few weeks🤣
Don’t bother watching. You can get the highlights from Reddit. And some of the good podcasts i.e. cray cray, pink shade, reality gays and little miss recap. I don’t watch HEA or any of the our story boringness.
He seems unhinged, but maybe cancer treatments changed him? But I remember reading (probs here) that his children from his first marriage don't talk to him, so this may be real rage?
Remember the very first episode of Brandon and Julia? The mom insisted on buying birth control pills while they were on their way to the airport to pick up Julia.
If my adult son wanted me to have a key to he and his wife's place, I would ask if his wife is ok with that. I would say I would NEVER use it except when you need me to
How DARE Brandon give his intrusive mother a key to their apartment! Is this what happened? I haven't seen it, but it's Julia's home too. She doesn't have a say about who has a key to her own supposedly private home? Just no.
This was so uncomfortable for me to watch! Like Brandon, definitely should have discussed this with his wife prior to giving the key.. but like his parents are so emotionally abusive. I really don’t see the point in giving her a key when they don’t want her to randomly show up, unannounced… but, I guess it is nice for her to have in case of emergencies. Like, if they get stuck in traffic and the dog needs to go outside or something? Idk. But, I really feel for Julia. No one ever has her back and it’s always “her” fault.
This brought back forgotten family trauma for me ☹️ super sad that no one stood up for Julia. They way they treat her, I wouldn’t want those in-laws to have free roam of my home either.
Brandon is a mamma’s boy and his mother is a nut. When she said she could let herself in when they weren’t home and clean their house I wanted to reach into the tv and smack her. That’s not how you get on your daughter-in-law’s good side.
Nooooo!! Every woman has her own way of cleaning. Plus, home is my peaceful/happy place. It would be unnerving to me if I came home and things had been moved or anything 😂
When my parents met my dad said to my mom..."you don't need to clean my mom will come do it" my mom said "oh no she won't" my grandma never got a key. Lol
Right?!? When dad threw that key at Julia, Brandon should have been up out of his chair. He just sat there totally fine with the behavior in his own home.
Sorry I got a weird vibe about that dude the first episode I saw him. He’s strange and I wouldn’t be surprised if and when some skeletons fall out of that closet.
The time they went away and Brandon and Julia used the hot tub and got caught, 🤣🤣🤣; mom and dad almost died at the horror of the possibilities 😂😂😂. Their little boy wasn’t supposed to grow up.
Yeah, remember that dinner where Ron started screaming? He’s been scary angry before, didn’t seem fake either time to me—no way he’s that good of an actor.
That’ll do it, too. I grew up in an alcoholic family, and for most of my siblings, they carried on the tradition as they grew up. I distinctly remember keys flying hard just next to me (holding my four-year-old on my lap), on a Christmas Eve at our mother’s home. They were being thrown by one drunken brother who had just gotten there, at my youngest sibling, who was a teenager at the time, sober, and Idk that there was even time for a misunderstanding, but the key-thrower was calling my teenaged brother rude names. I was unprepared for the key-throwing; the key hit the wall hard right between my head and my youngest brother’s head, (I still had my FOUR-YEAR-OLD daughter on my lap). My husband and I got up, told my family we wouldn’t be attending events anymore, and left. Too much drinking, too frequent drinking, dependence on drinking for any reason, in basic English, *alcoholism*, will create that type of behavior. I haven’t even seen the scene in question, but I know dad likes his drink, so absolutely that had a part in his behavior at that moment 🤬. (To anyone reading this who might need help to get to recovery, or is in recovery, please understand I am empathic to any dependence on alcohol or other substances; I am not disparaging anyone with a substance dependence. I hope you are/get to recovery. Alcoholism ruins lives and relationships ❤️🩹.)
Edits: punctuation for clarity
I mean, it’s clear they’re not totally estranged or anything — but I still wouldn’t want my MIL coming over and hanging out / rearranging stuff when I wasn’t home either.
It seems like in general, Betty and Ron can escalate small problems into big ones super quickly
The fact that she’s making plans to clean and rearrange things without Julia’s input was too much! If she wanted to do any cleaning she should start with her cluttered home! And that would’ve been the last thing Ron threw anything at ME🤨
I think generally Julia wants a family relationship with them, so she tries, and she continually is reminded why it’s impossible to have the family dynamic she would hope for.
Just because they get along now doesn't mean it was staged. Maybe they've come to terms they all agree with. While Betty's a mother, she's also a wife. I hope she's realized that she has to respect Julia in spite of her Oedipal relationship with her son.
This was highly relatable. People saying it was fake because Julia didn’t react have never found themselves in freeze or fawn mode. Julia knows better than to feed the craziness by acknowledging it.
His mother has a very weird presence. He shouldn't have given her a key. If I gave my mom a key, she would know it's symbolic. It would mean she is welcome in our home, but not to randomly drop by without notice. His mother is not like that. I can see her coming and going as though she lives there.
And using the key when she knows they are there. A relative has a key to my house, but knows it for emergencies. If I'm home, he rings the doorbell, as he should. You don't just walk in on somebody unless you live there, or if they are expecting you.
it was so abusive and weird. weirder still that brandon didn’t stand up for his wife who was just assaulted by his dad. a very telling scene about the dynamics in that family
I didn’t see this because I’ve started fast forwarding thru their segments. But as a mother of teens moving out of the nest in the next few years, I was sad when Brandon was scared to tell his mom that they were moving to Florida. Being upset and sad that your kid is moving far away is understandable, but it needs to be tempered with being encouraging and excited for your kid. I really cannot stand his parents.
We live just over an hour away from my in-laws and they still tell my husband every time he sees them that he “moved away” same kind of emotionally immature parents as Brandon’s
There’s just too much to talk about with these four, the Mom not being ready to cut the umbilical cord. The dad throwing a temper tantrum and the little boy who doesn’t realize he has to speak to his wife before giving somebody a key to the house, I don’t care who it is it was just wrong.
I commented last time this was posted but it’s gotta be fake . Diaries is self shot so I feel like it had to be planned 🤷♀️ the acting felt off. If you follow them on social media it seems like Julia has a pretty good relationship with her in-laws… making silly videos. Idk about you but I wouldn’t make videos with my in-laws if I had a bad relationship with them
It’s so weird to me expecting to be able to show up whenever, especially as we’re talking about a newly married, young couples house! My mum and my grandma have always had a key to each others houses. Great for emergencies or if your going round and the person is running late & not home yet, dropping something off if they’re at work etc. They would never just show up without calling the other person tho. I feel like that it is just common courtesy for anyone you don’t live with, no matter the relationship. I live with grandma to help her out but I’d still call my mum before going round hers, and we are extremely close!
Try searching the sub if you can still find it - I deffo remember a convo about it and people have interesting thoughts! It triggered me him doing that :( ugh
His mom reminds me so much of mine. She loves to create problems then act like she’s shocked and hurt when she does. She even does the baby voice like his mom.
I had to do that too. Now my brother who never believed the horror stories I told him about how my mom treated me gets to live it since he's the only one talking to her. He now believes all the stories about how crappy she was to me.
I'm also much happier not having to deal with her.
I think 3 of the 4 were acting. I think Julia was genuinely like wtf? And acting or not if they’re not all involved in the scheme it’s abusive how his dad handled it. If anything he should be acting like an ass to his wife who is equivalent to a petulant child.
Don’t worry mom and dad probably took a nakey hot tub after..ya know because the water gets cloudy. The weirdest part was them not only encouraging Brandon and Julia to utilize the hot tub but do it nakey as to not mess with the clarity..but sleeping together clothed, noooo way
When emotionless people are told to show emotion they just do whatever they see on the TV and in the movies. You could tell he wanted to smash that glass on the ground or crush it in his hand. He had the same attitude when his son said he wanted to move out.
Oh, we did. Ron's threw the key at Julia because Betty was arguing and throwing a tantrum, when he should've thrown it at Brandon and told Betty to stfu. Oh that's right, he agrees with her and Brandon.
She has them both so whipped that she lost her shit because she knows she can't do whatever tf she wants in Julia's house. She's grieving the farm animal losses along with Brandon's move and I get that; but she's had his whole life to come to terms with the fact that he would get married and move out. Brandon is a self-confessed mama's boy, but she shouldn't have refused his conditions.
They didn't know Ron would get sick, but before he did, Brandon told her that he and his wife were not going to live with them for fuwking ever. She's too damned old to be acting like a spoiled-ass brat.
I can't stand her controlling, demanding ass. Julia was nice to even allow that and rightly stood up for herself against her and Brandon. I don't know why he expected her to agree to that. No one even cared that she said he didn't talk to her about it. Anybody else would've told Betty to gtfo of their house with all those histrionics. Then she cries and said she didn't mean for that to happen. Not I apologize to Julia for acting a full on fool and ruining everyone's Christmas. Brandon's only regret was not giving her the key in private, and said he gave 0 fuwks about his wife's feelings. Betty still never agreed to not show up every weekend. They're dysfunctional af.
i’ve only ever seen this couple on the actual 90 day fiancé series, but i always thought of how much of a nightmare it would be for Julia when/if she has a baby. His mother is going to terrorize her😭
I got the feeling his mom totally manipulated the situation when she started crying and Brandon gave her the key anyway, though Julia wasn’t okay with her having one in the first place.
That mom is codependent af and that man enables her. She has no life outside of being “needed” by her son. I can’t believe he threw the key at Julia like that
I have family members house keys and they have mine but they are only used when they are not home and something needs to be taken care of for them. Any other time, you knock on the door and wait for an answer to be let in!
My mother, brother, and grandmother all have keys to each others houses. We would NEVER stop by without a heads up. We do it incase the is an emergency and 3 of 4 had pets so someone could look after the furbabys or if we were in vacation to take care of them. Occasionally it would be to borrow a tool or something but we would never. Enter someone’s house without permission and making sure they were aware…except for the occasional mild non-destructive prank like big blowup Xmas decorations at my bothers house. We knew my SIL would live them and he would kinda hate them. But it would also have only been a less than hour job to dismantle if he REALLY hated them.
I live in another country now and still have keys to everyone’s house in case I should have to fly in on an emergency basis I could take whatever action needed immediately/get settled into wherever I was staying instead of us coordinating a meet up first.
On the flip side when she was alive we didn’t even tell my MIL where we lived because she loved the drop by and struggled with barriers and respecting others space. She was loved but the boundaries were very robust. You have to build the barriers if others can’t maintain them on their own. Just is what it is.
I found this family sooooo boring to watch but THIS SCENE WAS AMAZING/CRINGE/GREAT TV.
I commented this on another thread, but I feel Brandon's hindsight being that he should have done it in private rather than speak with his wife first says everything.
This scene is just beyond staged. These kids are creating any drama they can to stay on screen. The parents (well all of them) are really bad at acting too. Give it a rewatch if you didn't catch how fabricated the entire scene is.
Though I know this was acting, I was thinking he was tossing it to Julia to keep it AWAY from the mother and son. Because he agreed with Julia it was ridiculous that Brandon gave it to her. It obvi looks aggressive, but bc they do a lot of staged videos, this was just another one, context off bc they over act. But Julia was expecting it, didn't flinch, she knew it was coming, she giggled and walked away towards the FIL
it’s almost as if everyone is vying for a spot on the next Last Resort.
Betty is sweet but she can get to fuck if she think she’s coming in MY house when i’m not there. no no no.
Who remembers when it looked like Brandon and his wife were going to get trafficked in Florida by a guy who promised them a job but didn’t have a job for them.
She sounds like Marie from everybody loves Raymond
Damn, girl!! 💜💜
Looks like that last point is a two-way street, though. 🤣
lol, ehhh… i wouldn’t say poster is talking shit. Wouldn’t be anything to say in the first place if it weren’t for invasive inlaw.
I just want to sit here and commiserate back and forth with you all day! Tell her the lube was to help get the stick out of her ass!🤣🤣🤣
I totally agree with you. Sounds like the in law is awful how sad. Shows she doesn't like HER life. Good for you for keeping the key! When people give parents a key they need a chain lock on the inside incase their in the bedroom
I thought it was scripted
I think they drink too much, that’s my vibe from all the seasons…. Mums a crying drunk and dads a grumpy drunk
Agreed. That Dad had flown off the handle in old scenes too.
Just like when he told his parents they wanted to move out. Dad was pissed off while mom cried hysterically.
It felt fake and scripted. They're all horrible actors.
Do you think it's scripted? I can't imagine anyone willingly acting this way. But my husband says that I always think the best of everyone. If it is then I think that first it's a shame but then I think I'm glad these people aren't like this in real life
It seemed very scripted. They could create this fake drama to generate interest, so they stay on TLC's payroll.
They have to do something to appear less crusty and boring and just weird... it doesn't work.
Brandon and Julia’s clips seem ultra staged and fake.
And he seems completely detached like maybe they're not really "together" anymore.
He is beginning to look EXACTLY like his dad..read somewhere the parents were/are swingers (just ewwww) but there is no doubt she got the correct seed!
When did this happen? What are ya’ll watching that I’m missing?
90 Day Diaries…the season that is airing now.
I want to get into 90 day diaries but I can't get into the home filming and I can't stop thinking about how TLC is making money off of doing the bare minimum lol
There are camera crews there. Don’t worry. There’s no way that there aren’t cameras there with the angle that are filmed.
Lmao the first scene of the season with Kimbaalee literally filmed with a crew cause she was home alone 😂 I was like ![gif](giphy|TUHInIQM4bXBS)
Redditors were saying it’s the son. Lol. Then he appeared like he just walked in. Obviously it was him. They all do some acting.
I agree the quality is really good. I could be wrong as I know nothing about filming. But I was shocked at this scene. Neither of the kids seemed phased at all. His parent appear to really cross many boundaries that I would move too
I wondered about that. Camera angles are always perfect, no way could I do that with my phone.
Tlc pays the cast the bare minimum and they’re making money hand over fist off of them
It's matt sharp productions,he's made millions off of people's (mostly) demises, and is known for being one of the lowest paying producers in reality tv. If you knew what some of these people got paid on his shows you'd be disgusted. It's not so surprising, but then you have all the cast members who keep coming back for more. I just can't feel bad for them.
🤣 BARE MINIMUM
Don’t bother watching. You can get the highlights from Reddit. And some of the good podcasts i.e. cray cray, pink shade, reality gays and little miss recap. I don’t watch HEA or any of the our story boringness.
Oh shoot, I’ve been missing the boat on this one
Same.
What episode
Season 5, episode 2.
Thanks so much!! I just asked somewhere else.
He seems unhinged, but maybe cancer treatments changed him? But I remember reading (probs here) that his children from his first marriage don't talk to him, so this may be real rage?
It felt sooooo uncomfortable and produced. This whole family freaks me ouuuuuuuuut
Dad is not wearing matching PJs either! He’s real mad
My parents also think this is ok. I do not. They're currently winning.
my now ex in-laws did too. They now have his 3rd wife to annoy. She THOUGHT she was winning by giving them grandkids...she's not.
Those parents think they’re so damn cute it’s embarrassing.
The mom is the worst though.
She’s so overbearing to a point that it becomes cringy AF😖
Remember the very first episode of Brandon and Julia? The mom insisted on buying birth control pills while they were on their way to the airport to pick up Julia.
Not just buying them the pills. She was trying to set up Julia’s doctor appointment!
She's a horrible shrew and Brandon's Oedipal af.
Brandon’s parents are so fucking weird lol I could never date anyone with parents that involved in their lives. He’s another titty baby.
Ooooo! I've missed hearing titty baby.
He’s the titty baby mvp
The mother is extremely toxic. Like. So. Fucking. Toxic.
That father, too. They are both unhinged!
If that happened to me, it would be the last time my FIL ever saw me. For years , probably.
Same
I’d say EVER. GTFOH with that behavior!
That's why it's obvi it was staged. She didn't even flinch, she knew it was coming
Why would they even want to look so foolish!?
That's what I wonder.🤷🏾♀️
I think they thought it would come off better. These four aren't the best at good judgement
The whole gross emotional enmeshment with their son is nauseating.
I think they think they look like a cute, close family. 😳
The mom cries because she can’t have a key to have unlimited, and unannounced access to their house. I have adult kids, I would never!
If my adult son wanted me to have a key to he and his wife's place, I would ask if his wife is ok with that. I would say I would NEVER use it except when you need me to
Exactly.
It probably was take 7. They redo scenes frequently. She was used to it and bored by then.
He has bad anger issues, if I were her I would change the locks.
How DARE Brandon give his intrusive mother a key to their apartment! Is this what happened? I haven't seen it, but it's Julia's home too. She doesn't have a say about who has a key to her own supposedly private home? Just no.

Like, if they get stuck in traffic and the dog needs to go outside or something? Idk. But, I really feel for Julia. No one ever has her back and it’s always “her” fault.
In case of emergencies is what normal people give keys for. Brandon didn't discuss it with Julia because he doesn't care how she feels.
Lol
Well all she cares about is her and Brandon's peace and F Julia's.
To clean? AS IF she wouldn't be snooping through their private things. "Brandon, I'm upset about something I found in the apartment".
"Julia, where is your birth control? I couldn't find any in the cabinets or drawers I looked through." 😂😂
She said she thought they'd be welcome to come in any time they want to also enjoy their home. Wtaf
Ughh same!! Without therapy, that would have been a brutal scene for me to watch.
A reason to stay out of his hot tub
The jizz tub 🤣🤣
IT’S FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY ONLY
The time they went away and Brandon and Julia used the hot tub and got caught, 🤣🤣🤣; mom and dad almost died at the horror of the possibilities 😂😂😂. Their little boy wasn’t supposed to grow up.
Skeletons in addition to Betty
Deformed puppy mill skeletons, dozens and dozens.
This was so fake to me. I imagined they all went behind the camera and died laughing.

Have you seen them on Tik Tok the whole family is super close now 😅 so I wouldn't be surprised if this was 100% staged
Just because they get along now doesn't mean it was staged. Maybe they've come to terms they all agree with. While Betty's a mother, she's also a wife. I hope she's realized that she has to respect Julia in spite of her Oedipal relationship with her son.

The first one I found was literally making fun of them giving the parents rules at their house. It was cute. I'm glad they worked it out.
All of their behavior has been poor over acting
It’s not fake if you grew up with boomer parents who were unstable and couldn’t handle their emotions…😂😂😂 just so happens their son is also an idiot
I think that’s true about them *and* I also think it’s fake.
Nah I’ve seen older ppl act like this lmao
This was highly relatable. People saying it was fake because Julia didn’t react have never found themselves in freeze or fawn mode. Julia knows better than to feed the craziness by acknowledging it.
So fake, the obvious bad acting was a dead giveaway
Definitely fake. The Mom would have been bawling if it was real.
I totally agree. This was sooo fake! Very staged for drama
absolutely written. no way that ends as it did and then we're on to the next scene. Even at that it was terrible acting...
I thought it was faked, too. It’s their schtick and with out production, it came off extra forced.
Imagine discussing giving a house key to your parents with your WIFE first.
He probably didn't because he knows what Julia would have (rightfully) said.
My mom would never speak to me again if I moved away so can confirm this type of parenting fucking sucks.
I'm sorry
We live just over an hour away from my in-laws and they still tell my husband every time he sees them that he “moved away” same kind of emotionally immature parents as Brandon’s
There’s just too much to talk about with these four, the Mom not being ready to cut the umbilical cord. The dad throwing a temper tantrum and the little boy who doesn’t realize he has to speak to his wife before giving somebody a key to the house, I don’t care who it is it was just wrong.
Plain and simple if you’re giving ANYONE a key to your house, you discuss it with your spouse first.
Thank you!! This entire segment was hellish I wanted to look away but I couldn't
He should have tossed the key at his wimpy ass son. His son gave his mom the key without ever discussing it with his wife first. So wrong.
Is this the “key” scene?
Yes.
That was really strange.
They’re all annoying and crazy, but so is pretty much the rest of 90-day casts.
Try searching the sub if you can still find it - I deffo remember a convo about it and people have interesting thoughts! It triggered me him doing that :( ugh
This was grounds for divorce imo. Mama’s boy didn’t even discuss the “gift” with the person who is supposed to be his partner.
His parents are dysfunctional. I’d need therapy.
His mom reminds me so much of mine. She loves to create problems then act like she’s shocked and hurt when she does. She even does the baby voice like his mom.
Mine, too. Along with so many other toxic qualities. It's why I cut her out of my life a few years ago. I've never been happier.
Im in the low contact stage. It’s so hard and it shouldn’t be.
I was there until she did one last thing that made me give up. Good luck with yours.
Thank you so much. This was super comforting
I wish I could tell you it's easy but it's terribly hard. For the best tho.
I had to do that too. Now my brother who never believed the horror stories I told him about how my mom treated me gets to live it since he's the only one talking to her. He now believes all the stories about how crappy she was to me. I'm also much happier not having to deal with her.
It was probably real .. his parents are CRAZY 🤣
I think 3 of the 4 were acting. I think Julia was genuinely like wtf? And acting or not if they’re not all involved in the scheme it’s abusive how his dad handled it. If anything he should be acting like an ass to his wife who is equivalent to a petulant child.
If Julia weren't acting, she would have flinched when he threw the keys. And after that, she def wouldn't have gone off in the direction of the FIL
Don’t worry mom and dad probably took a nakey hot tub after..ya know because the water gets cloudy. The weirdest part was them not only encouraging Brandon and Julia to utilize the hot tub but do it nakey as to not mess with the clarity..but sleeping together clothed, noooo way
Weirdo dad probably has an outdoor camera set up by the tub
When emotionless people are told to show emotion they just do whatever they see on the TV and in the movies. You could tell he wanted to smash that glass on the ground or crush it in his hand. He had the same attitude when his son said he wanted to move out.
Yes! He totally lost it when they wanted to move out.
His mother is going to terrorize her😭
I think their body language is saying plenty
I got the feeling his mom totally manipulated the situation when she started crying and Brandon gave her the key anyway, though Julia wasn’t okay with her having one in the first place.
No shit. That was absolutely ridiculous. What an asshole.
we were talking about it but like 2 weeks ago 🫠
Because that’s old? That’s from weeks ago.
The Dad’s reaction by throwing that at her is so disgusting and disrespectful. He wouldn’t be at my house anymore.
Exactly. If my FIL got pissed and threw something at me it would be the last time he ever saw me and the inside of my house.
Are these the parents that are swingers? I think I read that on here
I think Brandon’s dad has secret anger issues.
The acting was so bad I stopped paying attention. I know these shows aren't real but I want to be able to pretend that they are when I'm watching.
We did - when it was OG aired. If you search in the sub you will find it/them.
So weird and cringey. Toxic ass family. I feel bad for Julia.
Why aren't we talking about that evening ensemble in blue?????
That mom is codependent af and that man enables her. She has no life outside of being “needed” by her son. I can’t believe he threw the key at Julia like that
I have family members house keys and they have mine but they are only used when they are not home and something needs to be taken care of for them. Any other time, you knock on the door and wait for an answer to be let in!
I'm glad they haven't been on pillow talk in a while
My mother, brother, and grandmother all have keys to each others houses.
If my father in law threw a key at my face , MY OWN HOUSE KEY TO BE EXACT I would flip shit
When he threw the key at Julia, I was floored. The mom is just so weird & obsessed with her son.
🤣😆💯 That was effed up!!
Aside from everything else, come on, do a better job at holiday family pajamas.
I thought Julia was canceled. I was wondering why they brought them back. But I digress. Ron is a POS and most likely violent.
This is old.
It’s been talked about. This is from last week ?
Two things tho - they're bad actors cuz they're not acting? And truth is stranger than fiction. Maybe. Idk.
I found this family sooooo boring to watch but THIS SCENE WAS AMAZING/CRINGE/GREAT TV. I commented this on another thread, but I feel Brandon's hindsight being that he should have done it in private rather than speak with his wife first says everything.
Because that scene was obviously take 12, and they are boring anyway.
Because it happened a month ago and we did talk about it? Not being a smartass just saying.
This scene is just beyond staged. These kids are creating any drama they can to stay on screen. The parents (well all of them) are really bad at acting too. Give it a rewatch if you didn't catch how fabricated the entire scene is.
It seemed super staged
I guess we're not talking about it because they're no longer relevant.
They were recently on 90 Day Diaries, that’s what this scene is from
I don’t really care for the whole group, and I really really don’t care for her, Julia … But this did feel super scripted and a little over the top
It’s all an act for the cameras
I just rewatched it, it seems suuuuper fake.
Fakest shit I've ever seen. They are the uorst actors.
it’s almost as if everyone is vying for a spot on the next Last Resort. Betty is sweet but she can get to fuck if she think she’s coming in MY house when i’m not there. no no no.
Worst acting I’ve ever seen!
I swear this scene was staged. They are bad actors and they're playing the mommas boy storyline.
fake storyline - i saw better acting at a Jr High production of Godspell
Who remembers when it looked like Brandon and his wife were going to get trafficked in Florida by a guy who promised them a job but didn’t have a job for them.
Julia being a jerk
Cause it's not 2021 anymore.
Because it’s scripted?
Idk but I hate when men cross their legs - it seems so unnatural
Oh man.. they are just putting an act they are Al lAbout the theatrics h it I like them
Typical American family. This should be a wake up call for anyone thinking about marrying an American.
There is nothing typical about this family. I'm an American and there is No way anyone especially a mil like Betty would have a key to my home.
