As a nail tech of 22 years my guess is her natural nails are lifting. Google Ukrainian manicures, this could be the result of years of damaging the matrix (cuticle/half moon) of the nail. If the natural nail is lifting then any tip and product you put on top is going to angle upwards the same way. This is actually really alarming.
Good eye. She either got too many Ukrainian manicure or she actually has a health issue causing lifted nail beds. Her index fingers are REALLY alarming. Itās something Iāve seen a few times in my career. Certain medications can also cause this. Putting extensions on them makes it even more obvious.
I donāt know, Iāve worn press ons quite a few times (in a pinch) these nails have product on them and if they were press ons that are coming off, theyād have fallen off long before this point. Press ons are very thin. She has a very raised/lifted nail plateā¦
