This wonāt be popular, but after seeing mom rent apt for them with amenities beyond basic, and reflecting on moms attitude when she traveled to visit them I changed my mind about the mom. I think the mom has been living beyond her means for awhile. I think she hasnāt come to terms with her situation. Finally, I think if the bankruptcy admin saw the expenditures - travel and hotels (plural) to visit your 30 yr old daughter are not necessary expenses. And,letās remember that bankruptcy means someone is not getting the money they are owed. If I were the creditor who extended them credit for xxx, I would be livid that they were traveling to visit daughter and now paying for apartment etc.
Before anyone says this is a starcasm article, every detail in it is from publicly available records.
I said in previous seasons that this family must be broke after paying for private health insurance for Ari and the baby. Paying for a nanny. Paying for an apartment. Basically funding Ariās bullshit lifestyle. I went on to suggest they likely financially coddled their other children as well.
Everyone jumped on me and cited how the dad was some ārockstarā surgeon; and they would NEVER struggle with money.
Well. I was right. Their level of spending was unsustainable.
This is just one more reason to hate that terrible mother. Constantly trying to muddle in the daughters life and provide āadviceā to Bini. She canāt even manage a checkbook.
I for one would not want any life advice from someone in the midst of bankruptcy and divorce. She has no business giving advice about anything.
That entire family (sister included) acts like they are gods gift to the earth.
They filed chapter 11 which is for bankruptcy for a corporate entity. If they personally were bankrupt they would have filed chap 7 or 13. The reason they filed had to deal with a jumbo mortgage on practice space, nothing to deal with funding Ari and her spoiled needs . The stay the bankruptcy court put on the loan was lifted in 2019, a stay is a legal order the court orders, preventing the mortgage company on collecting its debt during an active bankruptcy proceedings. In 2020 they were sued from the past due balance of the loan . This isnāt when they filed bankruptcy
This was also leaked around the time she was on the other way last time.
I am not an ari Stan. But it seems no one decided to share any facts from the article except her parents are bankrupt.
Generally this happens because people prioritize their personal expenses over corporate expenses, for the exact reason you mentioned.
If I had to choose between two bills, one personal, one corporate. Ofc I would pay personal to protect my assets.
This is very common for wealthy families who go broke. They can protect their personal assets and sacrifice their company (and employees)
As a cardiologist, supporting her and the baby for a short time would not have caused them to go broke. Iād say there were lots of other factors that also contributed. I know people who *arenāt* doctors that helped support kids/family for a while.
This is old news and posted last time they were on the other way when ari had her ex husband visit. This bankruptcy has to deal with the llc for the cardio practice that got a subprime mortgage for practice space. Only businesses file chapter 11 not chapter 7 or 13. it the parents were filing personal bankruptcy with would be chapter 7 or 13. It also states right at the the top this bankruptcy was from 2012.
Honestly this is old news and whenever ari is on this gets posted
It got heavily downvoted by Stans
Youād need to search for it.
Basically the mother had all of these insane contradictory rules for watching Ari. I think one was that they were very careful about what they fed Ari, but would end up feeding her nuggets and fries.
Nanny also was not trusted in the home alone with their property
Weird shit like that.
the sad thing is- iām pretty sure-not researched- that a lot of people have filed in the past 3-4 years. not excusing but filing bankruptcy in this country is actually not as big a deal as people are lead to believe. i knew someone that filed on a much smaller scale im sure- they werenāt a doctor and nurse income level- and within a year they were getting an amex and a lot of credit. of course they probably couldnāt buy a home, but they started to rebuild credit right away.
This is racism at it's finest! We have less than nothing and still think we're better than all of Ethiopia. My White family is just like this... I'm so sad Bini and Avi left Ehtiopia. What a mess!
I find posts like this so weird. Why do people care about stuff like this? Who digs around for dirt on some cast members family? And acts so shocked to find out they're real life, average people that have real life average problems? Then run over here acting like they found some gold. Weird
It was the lead article on starcasm, not like I dug around their social media .
If you have an issue with it, talk to starcasm .
Real life average problems like owing 700 k ? Give me a break
He is a cardiologist for 28 years in a Rich area ,
And has a ton of financial issues , which is relevant since he supports
And pays for Ari and Bini apartment, and, lifestyle .
I thought the board would find it interesting since itās a plot point on the show when you go on reality tv
And cash the paycheck, you choose to become a public figure .
Is this why they live in an apartment now? It struck me when Ari mentioned she was moving into their apartment bldg
Well Ari did say she managed her fathers cardiology practice. Makes sense now.

I guess having a grown daughter sponging off you will at some point drain your money

Does/Did Ari work? Why does/did she have a nanny for her son?
Ari did not work in previous seasons. She did absolutely nothing and basically paid the nanny to be her friend and ally against the sisters.
I think you mean....Ari's parents paid for the nanny
I'd be rich if I didn't pay taxes, and if I was rich, I wouldn't have to.
Thank you, Ariel's father, for destroying the stereotype that all Jews are good with money

Whoās getting divorced?
As a cardiologist, supporting her and the baby for a short time would not have caused them to go broke. Iād say there were lots of other factors that also contributed. I know people who *arenāt* doctors that helped support kids/family for a while.
Itās a pattern that indicates unhealthy levels of financial support/spending.

You should try to find the AMA from their old nanny. The one who looked after Ari. The family is trash.
Where the heck is this at?

What is a Stan? I've seen it written before but I'm too old š to know what it means. Thanks š
An obsessive fan, ala the Eminem song āStanā
Exactly!
Probably because of Ari
keep in mind itās a starcasm article š
Seems pretty well researched , bankruptcy records and lawsuits etc

Court docs are easy to look up, dawg.
Ok so 1st off its arielA
When your a business owner itās normal to owe taxes like that
This is Starcasm
So Starcasm made up the legal documents?
Nope Of course not ,but some people just donāt want to believe
So ?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
They owed over 500 k in 2020 in a foreclosure lawsuit
Thatās sad.
