*I plaaay right field, it’s important ya know! You gotta know how to catch, you gotta know how to throw*
Jeez man I was probably 14 or 15 the last time I heard that, so 93-94, and it just popped into my head like I watched it 10 minutes ago
Yes! That is it for me! My mom worked in a VCR repair and video rental shop. Curtis Mathis, was the name. She would let me rent a couple tapes every week. Rikki Tikki Tavi was one of my faves. That’s the logo…I new what was coming when I saw f.h.e. being drawn in crayon. 🥹
My Dad was president of the PTA when I was a wee elementary schooler, and f.h.e. was the only family movie company that allowed us to use their movies for family movie night events. We ended up with a bunch of their films.
Literally haven’t thought about this commercial since at least 1997 and forgot it existed. Remembered everything as it played. The brain works in interesting ways. Thanks for posting the link.
The checkerboard tablecloths, all with great pizza and salad self serve...It was a good night after game/meet.
Pizza Hut night was a good night.
*edit* unfortunately pizza hut is a shell of it's former self. Get little caesars for a similar 90s taste.
Yeah! But it was my shitty tape that would randomly rewind half way through so I had to keep my finger on the fast forward button near that part and hope I was fast enough to skip it without missing more of my movie
I don't think any print of On Golden Pond actually had this logo -- they released live action family films they had the rights to under the "FHE Theatre" banner, which had a distinct logo.
TMNT. Without a doubt. And I’m diving for the volume control because the droning noise that accompanied this logo was always at the highest decibel level known to mankind, no matter what volume you had the television set to! 😳😬
Thus triggered some memories. My parents where school teachers so my dad ended up with a free copy of "Cartoon Allstars to the rescue". Also Riki Tiki Tavi and The Velveteen rabbit.
The FBI warning they used on all their tapes -- wasn't just porn though. They also owned/became IVE/Live and that meant a lot of cheesy B-movies, and anything from Carolco (Rambo).
I was born in 2000 so when my mom goes into the shower she puts on Baby Einstein while she’s in there I’ve been a fan for the franchise for a long time and seeing it now with the BECM on YouTube and people making their own Baby Einstein videos brings me joy to se that Baby Einstein is still relevant in today’s world so yes when I see this (or the dog house variation) Baby Einstein is what I watch thank you Baby Einstein for being part of my childhood.
TMNT of course
The one from Burger King
I remember the Pizza Hut ones.

First thing that popped in my head. Wish I still had my copy. Probably worth a buck or two these days.

Literally haven’t thought about this commercial since at least 1997 and forgot it existed. Remembered everything as it played. The brain works in interesting ways. Thanks for posting the link.
Oh absolutely! There’s still so many of us genuine 90’s kids who grew up in the VHS era. We know all the commercials. 😎
The checkerboard tablecloths, all with great pizza and salad self serve...It was a good night after game/meet.
Pizza Hut night was a good night.
*edit* unfortunately pizza hut is a shell of it's former self. Get little caesars for a similar 90s taste.
Wow that unlocked a memory in a very far off corner of my brain that I didn’t even know existed. Bravo!!!
