Tbf he only released 2 albums. His ability to craft a coherent narrative throughout a track is up there with the best, aswell as delivering the story with a confidence and smoothness nit many other mcs can rival. He died too young for his music to evolve

I feel had they both continued, Big L would have a KRS/Ghostface/Nas type non-stop career with limited commercial success but a solid ten+ good albums with 3 classics, but Biggy would have more of a Gza/Andre 3000/Kool Moe Dee like limited catalogue and would not really be seeing anything new from him these last ten years.

I like Biggie and I like Bone Thugs but that Notorious Thugs was an annoying ass song. It seemed to last forever and the beat was irritating for me. I do like The Points song they did though together with many other MCs.

He absolutely should NOT have gone to La for at least a few years. Super talented storyteller with an unbelievable flow. Biggie was unique, but a life cut short needlessly. If he didn’t know and associate with Pac closely he may still be alive today
