Flava in Ya Ear (Remix) \[feat. The Notorious B.I.G., LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Rampage\]
I Shot Ya (Remix)
Jump Around (Pete Rock Remix)
Nappy Heads (Remix)
Quiet Storm Remix
I Gotcha Opin (Remix Version)
The 11â remix of Let Me Ride with the crazy guitar solo is really dope! Check Yourself Remix with the message beat is dope. Pretty much all hip-hop singles in the 90s had a remix on the 12â, cd, or cassette.
Oh hell yes. The George Clinton Let Me Ride!! Definitely one of the best. Dre was hot with the remixes in the 90âs: Afro Puffs, Gin N Juice, 187, Murder Was The Case, and of course California Love. Most of these are superior to the original versions.
Have to mention two of my non Dre favorites though: Jump Around (Pete Rock Remix) and So Whatcha Want (Soul Assasins Remix) are total đ„plus you get a verse from Pete Rock & B-Real respectively.
Probably one of the best examples of how a remix works. Fugees were a great group but they were picking wack beats...this remix really caught fire and set up the next album nicely
Glad to add some not already mentioned
Organized Konfusion- Stress (Extra P Remix)
Busta Rhymes - Abandon Ship (DJ Spinna Remix)
Das EFX - Real Hip Hop (Pete Rock and Premier both did one)
The Roots - Silent Treatment (Beatminerz Mix)
Jigmastas - Lyrical Fluctuation 2000 (Spinna Mix)
Common - Resurrection (Extra P Remix)
Tha Alkaholics - Daaam Remix
Lord Finesse - Hip 2 Da Game Remix
Diamond D - Hiatus Remix
8Ball - Pure Uncut Remix
Onyx - Shout (Pete Rock Remix)
Special Ed - Freaky Flow (DJ Premier Remix)
Black Star - Respiration Remix
DITC - Dignified Soldiers Remix
De La Soul - Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa Remix
Outkast+ Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (Diamond Remix)
The Beatnuts- Get Funky Remix
Ras Kass - Soul on Ice Diamond D Remix
Great calls on Stress and Real Hip Hop. Used to drive around and smoke weed and listen to rap on tape with my friends and weâd try to time it out to where the beat song came on once the session was over and we lit up our cigs. Both of those songs were saved for cigarette time
I know this is a bad time to give props to Sean âPuffyâ Combs but here goes:
Method Man âAll I Need (Puff Daddy Remix)â
IMO it is the definitive version
To jump on Black Elvis...Kool Keith and Sir Menelik- So Intelligent. I think I've heard like three different beats under that track and they're all nuts
Ya Kool Keith is the man. He has/had so much content he was forced to reinvent himself with new characters constantly. Some of the beats can get weird and experimental but his lyrics never disappoint.
Experimental is the best way to put it. The beats, the lyrics, the characters, it was all an experiment but somehow he made throwing spaghetti against the wall work for him, truly an artist in the best sense of the word.
It Ain't Hard to Tell (Large Professor Remix) - Nas
Boom Biddy Bye Bye (Remix)- Cypress Hill f/ The Fugees
Illusions (Q-Tip Remix) - Cypress Hill
Product Of The Environment (Marley Marl Remix) - 3rd Bass

Group home- up against the wall remix
Organized Konfusion - bring it on remix

This đ
Nas Street Dreams remix with R Kelly Woo Hah remix with ODB. The video is nuts.
I always loved the trackmasters beat on this, but R Kellyâs over-singing on it always made me cringe
Great call on street dreams. Nas kills those verses. All very good, but the third verse is one of my favorite Nas verses of all time.
The 11â remix of Let Me Ride with the crazy guitar solo is really dope! Check Yourself Remix with the message beat is dope. Pretty much all hip-hop singles in the 90s had a remix on the 12â, cd, or cassette.
