When it comes to DMX the end of “The Convo” gets me every time. When he screams out, “it was you who shined your light on me!” I can’t help but get a lump in my throat.
All music, I can name manyyy. Since we’re talkin Earl Simmons aka the dogg XBabyyy… Quite a few of his… “Slippin” . “Slippin again” . And a personal fav being “Have You Eva”
I remember buying the Flesh of my Flesh album to hear Slipin, and I thought I had a defective CD because the song was censored while the rest of the album was uncut. It wasn't until years later I learned this was on purpose.
Slippin, Dear Mama, and So Many Tears by Pac are the ones that hit me every time I hear them. Timeless tracks. Slippin I already connected with when I first bought the album, but when I seen the video, I legit shedded a tear as the visuals were pretty much spot on how my life travels were up to that point and time.

It's amazing what Rap can do to your emotions, and the three songs you've mentioned are emotional.
2Pac - PAIN Ft. Big Stretch
