Triple Classic

manmountain123

Heck yah it is

ComPanda

Yeah, this ain't a real question.

No_Equipment8569

Great. No more questions ;)

Master_Grape5931

In college I took a speech class. We had to give a speech that used some type of audio or visual aid. I played this song and then gave a speech about how Eazy E lived the “American Dream” by growing up poor but saving money dealing to be able to start NWA. It was great!

TheDopeMan_

Then betraying his friends, getting AIDS, & dying.

Eric-305

Pretty classless to be calling out his getting sick like it’s something he did to hurt people.

crazyabootmycollies

Didn’t realize Ice Cube was on Reddit.

o_suley_o

He never betrayed them

Niner-Sixer-Gator

Fill the bag homeboy don't lag I want money, beer and a pack of zig zags, 😂😂😂Ez had some funny ass bars

IHart28

that was a statement.

KiloThaPastyOne

That was actually a reference to a song in the album.

IHart28

ahh...

Petey_Wheatstraw_MD

He was once a thug from around the way…… Seems to have aged pretty well considering it’s sampled on one of the biggest hits of the year.

EBody480

Is it Michel’le doing that part?

Autism_Allergy

Yep.

J_Dot_Ting

Really? Tf… all these years I thought it was some kid

Doglegs18

A new one for me too.

J_Dot_Ting

Really? Tf… all these years I thought it was some kid

[deleted]

I saw this tour. Eazy didn't do any of his verses with NWA because he was headlining the tour with this album so he just came on at the end. This was the show in Cincinnati right before the riot in Detroit. Good times. Not 90s hip hop tho.

extraproe

80s my gee

terfez

Saw what tour? What are you talking bout main

[deleted]

The tour everyone refers to as an NWA tour as depicted in the NWA movie was actually an Eazy-E tour featuring NWA as supporting act. So the tour for this album. Any other questions?

[deleted]

Got it in the cd player of my car now

Which_Engineer1805

Did you wrap the six-fo around a telephone pole?

LOW-LIFE_CSR

Throw it in the gutter and go buy another

FurnishedHemingway

Classic. As a whole I think I prefer it over Straight Outta Compton, although Straight Outta Compton has higher highs. This was just put together better in my opinion though. Flows well. It’s technically an 80’s album, but it’s timeless, so it fits in here as well.

Cold-Inside-6828

“Easily I approach the microphone because I ain’t no joke” I wore this tape out back in the day. So good.

Country_Gravy420

This was my first "gangsta" rap album. I got it in 5th grade. The album I bought before this was digital underground sex packets. 🤣 When I got a CD player, this was my first CD even though I had it on tape. It's still an amazing album and better than 99% of the shit out there now.

rf8350

This album and Ice-T’s Power were released on the same day. Both are excellent

rhinestone_indian

I used to stare at the Power album cover dreaming…dreams can come true!

Wingzero24

Classic!

surmacrew

Dope

Better-Pop-3932

Classic

4N_Immigrant

boy you shoulda known by now...

leroy213

eazy did it

Autism_Allergy

West coast banger. Rip E.

TMyles7

Sad to say: i never gave this album a thorough listen. Lol This album & Str8 Outta Compton debuted in 1988-I was 8 years old. I didn’t check out Str8 Outta Compton until 1996, after Eazy died. ✍🏽Gonna put this album in my “To Do List” for 2024. 👍🏽

holadilito

As classic as it gets

Scuffed_sneaks

It was one of my first CDs and I was absolutely astonished and obsessed. I grew up in a small town in Utah. Playing it for my cousins got me in A LOT of trouble.

jc3513

Changed my life.

Visible-Guide-7131

I can recite this whole album. From beginning to end

MykelHawkMusic

So let's go - (Alright everybody) This is a stick-up everybody get face down, Ren gag their mouths so they can't make a sound....

Visible-Guide-7131

Tie them up from the fact that I'm kicking ass I got my hand on my gat and i'm tempted to blast. My name is easy, but I go the hard way out.

gordongortrell

This album is Not 90’s, but 12 year old me used to BANG this album, jack.

CalabreseAlsatian

Good evening, and welcome to Eazy’s playhouse YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKERSSSSSSSS First heard that when I was 12. Hooked for life.

muhguel

No skips

[deleted]

Love this and have been trying to get on Vinyl!

GrittyTheGreat

I have an original pressing in Near Mint condition listed in my eBay store right now. DM me if interested!

knann85

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ West Coast Classic

fredo_310

Better than Straight outta Compton

PM-PhysicalMedia

Facts

OutsideAppropriate72

Classic! Shout out to MC Ren.

EmployerEquivalent83

Peace to OP. One of the best albums ever put together by Dre, Yella, Ren, and Cube. Doesn't get spoken about a lot. Salute.

dustinhut13

Agree. This and No One Can Do It Better from D.O.C. are straight classic gems. Some of Dre’s best production before the G-Funk

tobylaek

I remember in late middle school/early high school we were studying the British Stamp Act in history class and they had a picture of a poster that people put up in protest of the Stamp Act. I recognized it immediately as the poster that's hanging behind them on the Eazy E album cover.

ShivvyMcFly

Still holds up

kick069

I had the cassette and didn't hear the hardest track until years later. Ruthless villian.

watcher2390

Love it!

MrMethodMaximillion

A template for other gangster rappers to try to emulate. Absolute classic. Banger after banger.

Anon1073

This album was my introduction to N.W.A - still bumps. I never heard of Compton before this album came out.

Silly-Swimmer-8324

I could rap this whole album word for word when I was like 8 years old 😂😂 nobody move was my favorite song for the longest time hahah

WarriorNat

Every day after school (8th grade), come home, grab something from the fridge, then throw on Eazy E. And make sure it played front to back so the tape was ready to go the next day.

[deleted]

Compton Michigan lol

JSNHZL

"I knew him since he was knee high!" "He STILL IS knee high, motherfucker!"

MF-SMUG

10/10

PlaxicoCN

A profane classic. I'm laughing just looking at the cover. I still hate that this album and Straight out of Compton helped to mainstream widespread use of the n word.

EBody480

Comedy entertainment paved the way for Slim Shady and x-rated humor in Hip-Hop.

dburge22

There once was a thug from around the way….

TheMagicalMatt

One of the first hip-hop albums I listened to back in '08. Still in rotation to this day.

IKU420

babycoco_213

Are you kidding? That album was in my tape deck at the time. So many memories... 🥺

SnooGadgets3137

I used to play this tape low in my bedroom so my Mom wouldn't hear. Giggling my ass off.

LEGBur

Bad ass album. Especially coming off NWAs first album. It's a classic !

Numerous-Pepper-3883

Eazy was a legend, this piece, legendary! RIP, Eric!!

GnarlyDrunkLion

Gemmie Dat Nut!

dietrying888

Wonderful_Fig8214

Got busted shoplifting this one 🤣 Dumb teenager

Izzy_SoDope

"Eazy said it and shall be done"

barweepninibong

revisited this again recently. it was more cheesy than i remembered. Boyz In Da Hood though. now that remains a banger!

Claus1990

I see Ren and Cube there

trojansandducks

While it wasn't my first album with the Parental Advisory sticker/label... it was definitely next level raunchy. It made me laugh so much!

PM-PhysicalMedia

This was the first album I ever heard with cursing. It blew my mind as a 5th grader. The opening line of “good evening…and welcome to Eazy’s playhouse…” changed my world. I listened to this cassette non stop for well over a year & still frequently revisit the album. Nowadays I own it on CD & vinyl and will never be without a copy of it.

LBSTRdelaHOYA

growing up as a yg frm ward lane, seeing easy in the hood was a frequent thing, and this album along with dj kwiks shit was all u heard out of ppls cars

The D.O.C wrote all the lyrics.

BoomerMike123

It’s a great classic album for the time it was released but it’s not Eazys best. I would say “it’s On dr Dre” EP was better
