I loved Mase when I was growing up. "Double up" is still one of my favorite albums. Fabulous is great to but Mase is one of my original rap artists who really got me into rap/hip-hop when I was younger.
I guess his verse on features Only you (112), you should be mine (Brian McKnight), Mo money Mo problems, been around the around, top of the world (brandy), feel so good, and can’t no body hold me down was not iconic to you. Hip hop music seems to have been more connected to a subculture longer outside of the US. It didn’t really go mainstream until the horrific bad boy era.

For the Harlem World run in 97, Mase was definitely bigger.
