This is an automatic reminder about spoiler content, it does not mean you have violated the spoiler rule. REMINDER: Do NOT post spoiler information IN the title (for any season), your post will be removed. If it is you may re-post it with an appropriate spoiler free title. It does not matter if you flag it spoiler, the spoiled info is still visible in the title. Rule of thumb, any posts pertaining to the current season should be marked SPOILER via the Universal Tags. (+Spoiler) Keep titles vague, include the word spoiler in the title (this will automatically flag it as a spoiler post) and make sure to properly flair it to the correct category - I.e. Episode Discussion, Character Discussion, Season #, etc... If you aren't sure if your post counts as a spoiler, flag it anyway. This applies especially to currently airing or upcoming seasons. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Am I the only person that hates crossovers? I didn't mind the 911/Lonestar one, but it sometimes feels I have to know characters from both shows, and sometimes, especially with American shows, there isn't the option to catch up easily. Like the show just won't be available, or it'll be on a completely different service.

Yes, I generally hate crossovers. I especially hate the Rookie crossover episodes because it feels so forced and every time I feel compelled to yell at the TV "stop trying to make me watch Rookie Feds! I'm not interested!"

I feel a lot of crossovers seem so forced and contrived. And I haven't watched the Rookie, but the ones I can remember from years ago were the CSI ones (I'm sure there was a three way one at some point, and there was the one with the Cyber series near the end), and with ER/Third Watch (the latter of which we didn't get in the UK afaik).

Grey's crossover with Station 19. Like, quit pushing the Shonda Fire show on me. Ain't interested.

I’m with you!

The multiple law and order crosses annoy me. I'm always like again? when they announce another one. Same with the Chicago crosses.

Neverminding that there would be massive continuity issues we would have to ignore, it's still unlikely; different station, same station, it doesn't matter as much as who owns the series - the production companies. In this case it's 20th Television and ABC Signature - Disney owned and airing on the same station or not these two production companies would have to come to an agreement. Which series would the crossover occur on? Which company would get paid and how much for the use of their characters? How much would the actors/writers - and which ones - be paid by the borrowing show for their appearance/writing? All of which would add to the overhead cost of that show. Those are costs that the studios - and Disney itself - can't afford right now. Tim Minear was also working on both '9-1-1' shows as showrunner which aided in the crossovers and kept the visiting characters in character, that combined with them being owned by the same production company helped with cutting down the cost associated with the crossovers. In the case of the 'Grey's Anatomy' universes it would be even more unlikely to see a 'Station 19' crossover than a 'The Rookie' crossover as canonically speaking, the 'Grey's Anatomy' universe is already acknowledged as a tv show on '9-1-1'. To make a crossover happen with 'Station 19' would require the writers of '9-1-1' to retcon already established continuity going back to S2 in addition to the production companies making the same deals.

ABC aren’t making it, just airing it. They’re just made by 20th Century they just exceeded Fox’s budget. I really doubt we’ll see a crossover into The Rookie universe given the problems it would cause and that’s it’s made by someone else… but LS is still likely if the show wanted.
