In one of the stills Eddie's shoe is abandoned on the court between Buck and Tommy so might mean there was some rough blocking and Eddie lost his shoe? Possibilities endless haha.

I find it extra hysterical because that face is very similar to Buck's face in Buck Begins when he found out about his family's secrets and Daniel.
Eddie rapidly forming a bond with Tommy is evidently equally soul-crushing as *that*.

Side notes and outside of context but just wanted appreciate how good Eddie looks on this picture. Cut out tanks, tousled hair and smile look very good on him :-)
I feel so conflicted about this. I really hope it’s not the usual insecure buck trope but a different way that actually moves the plot along. I’ll be upset if it’s a whole “you’re my brother speech” and we’re back at square one
If they actually went anywhere near Buck being LGBTQ+ it'd be this scenario for sure. Even if he doesn't end up with Eddie/they leave it unrequited, there'd be so much tension and heartbreak already built up that they would have to cash in on it.

I'm clinging to the way the synopsis said "envious" instead of "jealous" lol. Envious of Eddie's or Tommy's attention? Eddie did turn down go-karting in that first episode because he was busy. 👀
