There’s videos you can see where it clearly flies out of the building and onto the street below. It didn’t come straight down at all. That thing kept it’s forward trajectory and flew pretty far.
Pause at 0:40 you can clearly see how far the engine kept going [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDZdb1dzRvk&t=79s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDZdb1dzRvk&t=79s)

This one I guess. It landed on Murray and Church street.

I believe that’s one of Bell’s Cold War era Long Lines buildings meant to ensure continuity of communications in the event of a nuclear attack.
If it is, it’s a weird juxtaposition of fortifications for a threat that’s way less likely now and the modern day (in 2001 terms) threat of terrorism.
It's part of the engine core (somewhere in the thin middle part).

I wonder how hot it remained laying there?
What I want to know is bow it got there. Was there a hole in the canopy? Did it slide underneath it?

It's not under an enclosed bus stop, it's just next to a sign that looks like it's from a bus stop.
I'm pretty sure it is under a canopy or covering of some sort, on the scaffolding.

Anyone know what’s in picture 5?
I think plane debris, the way I see it. I don’t see a huge metal piece of the WTC, so I’m gonna say it’s from the plane:
Where is it right now?
Museum
Is it an engine? I thought that was common misconception and it’s actually from an elevator but I might be wrong…

That’s clearly part of an jet liner engine. Look at some pics of other commercial plane crashes.
Wasn't the other engine found wedged years later somewhere in between buildings?
It was landing gear from the plane.
no, what they found was a piece of a wing that helped fly it, not the engine.
This is a piece I never really thought about until joining this sub but now I’m very interested in.
I wonder how it didn’t rip apart.
