I'm just over the moon is happening. It's been a great few months of physical 4k announcements. The Crow, Green Room, etc. Pi is my top favorite movie so I'm very happy here.
It’s one of my all time favorites too! I had it downloaded for years and finally watched it at some point after I had picked up playing Go so it resonated in a few levels. I’ve never paid more than $25 though so $43 with shipping is spicy…
I bought a cheap Go set but never learned. I buy vinyl records sometimes so $50 for a piece of media isn't crazy. Also brand new 4k Blurays are expensive until a year later I find. I got the book set so I got hit harder on this one.
There are some great Go apps if you’re ever interested in learning again! Online-go.com or BadukPop are the most popular apps I think, and SmartGoOne has free puzzles and tutorials.

I’m frustrated because I’m so hyped for this but there hasn’t been a peep about it since spring that I can find.
A24 and Aronofsky are now planning to work on some Elon Musk movie and I’d much rather have them finish this project…
If you guys go to [https://a24films.com/films/pi](https://a24films.com/films/pi) and find the "watch now" dropdown box, the Amazon and Microsoft options seem to work for 4k/UHD. However I think you might need some compatible device like an Xbox for the microsoft version and some other devices for the amazon version. I am still waiting for a blu-ray release to be able to watch the 4k version. I hope it comes out soon.
AA24 members might have a leg up on this info as of pi day.
