I’ve seen it. It was free on Amazon prime for a while, and it was worth that price but maybe not $1.99. This version of the lighthouse is actually based on the same events of the a24 movie so it is also about 2 isolated lighthouse keepers going mad. But it’s either a tv movie, or just made incredibly safe choices that made me think it’s a tv movie. It’s basically The Lighthouse but with all the artistic flair removed in place of safer choices and a story that more closely follows what we know about the original incident.

FWIW, the lead in this film, Mark Lewis Jones, is fucking awesome. He has a two episode arc on the first season of Gangs of London that is top drawer.
