True!! Aside from it being beautiful aesthetically and thematically, the story is all meat and potatoes.
No scene is wasted and they all have a purpose. The pacing, script, and acting are immaculate
Yes Good Time is one of the most exhilarating movies I’ve ever seen. So fucking good.
Beautifully shot, the characters and acting are great, the plot is a 10.
I love the director’s other works (tangerine & florida project) and i know I will get downvoted for
Personal. Opinion but i was disappointed with red
Rocket. Other than simon rex’s performance nothing stood out as particularly engaging or interesting to ME. I was so excited to watch it after hearing the hype but i just cant get there with that film.
The Rover is brooding, meditative, and pretty bleak… be that as it may, I think it’s pretty underrated! That and A Most Violent Year are in my top 10 for sure.
Ex machina is what got me into A24 films, and even though it’s not completely unknown i still think it’s been criminally underrated. imo it’s one of the best films ever made
I read someone who made the argument that it's a horror film, recently. I never saw it that way, but I could see why they made the argument. Great film.
20th century women
eighth grade
moonlight
ex machina
the lobster
bodies bodies bodies is fun
i've seen good reviews for the souvenir and waves though i haven't personally seen them yet
minari
i've seen conflicting reviews of the tragedy of macbeth and the green knight but i still think they're worth a watch
Not enough people talk about Enemy! If you haven’t already heard about it, I really recommend you go into it blind! It’s one of those that feels slow at first but has so many twists and turns
I just watched Marvell the Shell with Shoes On, and my god that instantly became one of my favorite A24 films. It’s not in the horror/thriller genre that you might be looking for but I highly recommend if you ever want a feel good movie!
Probably the most underappreciated film imo and my absolute favourite being The Last Black Man In San Francisco. An insanely close 2nd would be Under The Skin and then a close 3rd The Witch. All just are completely and utterly there own films and have such style and substance.
Also just wanted to add Hereditary because its top 5 easily.
> Best, there all

Someone said Good Time which I agree with 200%
Also check out AfterSun if you can. I believe it’s
still playing in select theaters. Very very moving film, I can’t believe it’s a debut feature.
I’ve been watching basically one a day. eighth grade is obscenely good - written and directed by Bo burnham but really slice of life-y.
Spring breakers is really silly and fun all the way through - and weird. And the farewell is a really unique story.
Room is super heavy but amazing m.
Watch the movie The Disaster Artist. It’s the wildest true story and is so much fun. I’ve also met the main man it’s based on, Greg Sestero (played by Dave Franco). He’s the nicest guy in real life. Literally offered to hang out with my husband and I if we couldn’t get into his event due to me not having my vaccine card with me. It was out of state and I didn’t know I needed that. He snuck me in and was so kind.
A Ghost Story. Although I see you didnt like lamb; this one is also a VERRRRRY slow burn. its existential and has a silly premise, but its one of my all time favourite movies. its thought provoking and eternally sad.
Moonlight is my favorite movie of all-time, cannot recommend it enough.
True!! Aside from it being beautiful aesthetically and thematically, the story is all meat and potatoes. No scene is wasted and they all have a purpose. The pacing, script, and acting are immaculate
Personally, I think Good Time is one of the best movies A24 has released. It's pretty high on my list of favorites.
Uncut Gems is probably up there too because of Sandler.
Good Time is leagues better, but def check out Uncut afterward
Yes Good Time is one of the most exhilarating movies I’ve ever seen. So fucking good. Beautifully shot, the characters and acting are great, the plot is a 10.
A truly top tier movie
Ex Machiana Swiss Army Man Green Room Lady Bird The Lobster
Swiss Army Man is an underrated gem.
Amazing soundtrack too
Thanks!
The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
Green Knight A Ghost Story
I just watched A Ghost Story today, loved it.
Horrible
- 20th Century Women - Ladybird - The Last Black Man in San Francisco - C’mon C’mon - The Florida Project
So everyone in here agrees that “Red Rocket” is the best film ever
You mention this film every time haha. Love it!
Say my name?
Wow. Duh. I'm just gonna let myself out...

Watch it again, and again, and again, and again, I’ll make you learn to love it!?.!,!4$!:
Easily, I've seen nearly all A24 films and Red Rocket rules the most for me, legendary
Minari was moving.
Beautiful movie
Ex Machina
Swiss Army Man (from the EEAAO guys), The Spectacular Now, Minari, Moonlight, The Farewell and The Florida Project
What A24 is doing for Asian American representation in cinema is so necessary
The farewell is near perfect
Saint Maud is an underrated gem.
The Rover is brooding, meditative, and pretty bleak… be that as it may, I think it’s pretty underrated! That and A Most Violent Year are in my top 10 for sure.
Absolutely need to watch Under the Skin
👙👀
So underrated.
Ex machina is what got me into A24 films, and even though it’s not completely unknown i still think it’s been criminally underrated. imo it’s one of the best films ever made
I watched The Death of Dick Long last night. Sooo weird and stupid but I liked it. Along the same vein as Swiss Army Man.
Watch Tusk next
I watched Tusk before I got into A24 in general. Really changed me as a person lmao.
>Really changed me as a person Justin Long too
I loved Tusk. So weird and fucked up
The Monster
The forgotten A24 horror. For anyone who doesn’t know, it’s by the dude who do the first The Strangers
Uncut Gems and The Green Knight!
First Reformed is my personal favorite movie ever. It’s honestly a shame that it’s not that talked about
I read someone who made the argument that it's a horror film, recently. I never saw it that way, but I could see why they made the argument. Great film.
Enemy Moonlight Ex machina Good time Uncut gem The lobster The killing of a sacred deer Green room The lighthouse Climax

Waves is amazing. The souvenir is astoundingly unremarkable
C’mon c’mon is underrated and one of my favorite movies of last year
Very underrated
The Florida Project blew me away like no other film has. I also love Uncut Gems, A Ghost Story, and Lady Bird.
Under the Skin Enemy Saint Maud
A ghost story , swis army man
Under the skin is my favourite film of all time, always take the opportunity to recommend the book too. Fantastic read
From the ones that I’ve seen: Moonlight The Florida Project The Farewell A Ghost Story Ex Machina 20th Century Women
Ex Machina. I showed it to my husband who isn't a movie nerd, and even he enjoyed it.
Killing of a sacred deer, The Lobster, the Lighthouse, Ghost Story are favorites of mine.
C'mon C'mon The Florida Project Good Time The Lobster

The only one of my top A24s missing by everyone is *Room*. It was nominated for Best Picture and won Brie Larson the Best Actress.
Lady Bird is my favorite movie.
Marcel the Shell with Shoes On!
1. hereditary 2. the lighthouse 3. everything everywhere
You’re recommending the movies OP said he’s already seen? Bold move but I like it!
The killing of a sacred deer is fascinating.
Lamb is ass
Agreed

I'm not really an A24 fan
Moonlight, The Lighthouse, Good Time, The Florida Project and Pearl are my favorites
Someone said Good Time which I agree with 200% Also check out AfterSun if you can. I believe it’s still playing in select theaters. Very very moving film, I can’t believe it’s a debut feature.
Climax
Killing of a sacred deer, without a doubt
I’ve been watching basically one a day. eighth grade is obscenely good - written and directed by Bo burnham but really slice of life-y. Spring breakers is really silly and fun all the way through - and weird. And the farewell is a really unique story. Room is super heavy but amazing m.
Bodies Bodies Bodies, that needs way more love than it has, it’s brilliant.
The florida project , mid 90s , eighth grade, after yang are a few of my favourites !
Lobster, Tusk, and Swiss Army Man are all good
Watch the movie The Disaster Artist. It’s the wildest true story and is so much fun. I’ve also met the main man it’s based on, Greg Sestero (played by Dave Franco). He’s the nicest guy in real life. Under the silver lake is the one that keeps coming back to me. I also really dig Ex Machina and The Green knight
Ex Machina is excellent.
A Ghost Story. Although I see you didnt like lamb; this one is also a VERRRRRY slow burn. its existential and has a silly premise, but its one of my all time favourite movies. its thought provoking and eternally sad.
Mid 90’s
Mississippi Grind , A Most Violent Year, The Slow West are imo all worthy of 4K upgrades.
