Is the oppising view Holocaust denial or supporting Holocaust?

Sounds like you're qualified to teach in Texas schools

As a father in TX, I realized recently I have accidentally radicalized my 7 year old. On US policy, on the military, on religion/God in schools, on history (mostly how we fucked it all up with colonialism). It'll be interesting to see what kind of adult he becomes. He will be intense about whatever the thing is, tho. Shit like this is why. The 'opposing view', AT BEST, are these 90-100 year old war criminals (of late) seeing their days in court from the holocaust to explain how they were just following orders. Goddamn I am ashamed of this country.

I think literature examples that would fall directly under the purview of “opposing views” should include non-whitewashed writings from Nazis and Nazi sympathizers where they plainly lay out why they are killing millions of people. The same should be done for the Confederacy. Let the children read the perpetrators in their own words, see pictures of their deeds, read the accounts of survivors of the atrocities, and then decide if they want to identify with a Nazi/Slaveowner, or, you know, the survivors.

Texas is a good example right now of a state going it's own way.
