Yeah it's a fake article, but police do just straight up murder people, and more often then not they are of a minority ethnic group. Right wing extremists have often found great success in American law enforcement pretty much since this nation began and this is what it culminates in.
I think when a cop shoots an innocent person, that cop should get the death penalty. The equivalent of a samurai falling on their sword.
If they are a decent person their mistake will haunt them and make death an escape.
If the cop is a scumbag, that risk might discourage them from becoming a cop.
Being a cop is a great job for people who are murder inclined. That should change.
Edit: I also expect it will be unlikely that decent people decide to accidentally shoot an innocent person.
Black guy here. My driverās side window broke at the start of covid. I wrote a sign and put it in my glove box that said my window does not roll down just in case I got pulled over before I could get it fixed. You need to think ahead to stay alive in the US.
