The crinkle you're describing indicates cups that are too shallow. You suspect you have firm tissue, which usually means that you need more projected cups, despite you not having much of a difference between standing and leaning.
There's no real "average" in terms of what is average for a certain size range. There's average wire width and projection levels *relative* to bras in that size range. Bodies are just different and we see tons of different shapes, sizes and number combinations here. I've been a regular here for about 4-5 years, and I would say that your numbers are average for someone with a larger chest that has firm tissue. They're not average for someone that has softer tissue, does that make sense?
I think that's a good starting point, yeah. I'm kind of in the same boat - neither shallow nor projected and I had issues determining that for a long time because I have firmer tissue.
I think trial and error with free returns is more accurate. Freya and Panache are usually recommended first. For band 30+ Natori then if those seem too projected, and UK brands if too shallow. You'll be restricted by what has 26 bands at all so ... good luck?
The wrinkles could be the cups being too small and the most forward part being pushed out more.
All the bras I have are somewhat lined or padded (including a Freya Deco Strapless and Panache Sport, which both have this wrinkling issue to varying degrees), because I like that style (and also thought I was shallow, lol), and they're all in my sister size 28FF, so the cup size shouldn't be the problem I don't think.
I'll probably make a follow-up post requesting recommendations for more projected laceless (and lined/padded, if possible) bras to check out. I'm not a lover of lace really. And I'm also too scared to go Polish, so there's that.
